Bio Photo PFC James Rexford (Rex) Scowden KIA WW I buried in France, also has stone in Rose Hill Cemetery, McKean County, Pa

Corp. Steven John Skinner KIA WW I, buried in France

SUGGESTION!! Some of the photo requests have been on there for some time. I, and I'm sure other volunteers, have gone to the trouble of adding an address and phone number for cemeteries. Some of them are large, so it would help a great deal, if you really want the photo, to call and get a location.

If I take the time to find the plot location, and pass the info on to you, PLEASE add it to the page if possible. Otherwise if you're requesting a photo (which would be the only reason I would go thru the cemetery records) then at least add it in the message section of the request even if you have to put in a new photo request. If I'm wasting my time sending the plot location, then I'm certainly not going to waste my time taking a photo.

Also, please don't hassle me if I have a wife listed as Mrs. William (first name) ___. Her first name is not William, so don't ask me to change it, unless you know her given name.

Andrew Whisner Memorial# 88897376
I found the Death Cert. and Application for a Military Cemetery stone and posted them on his Memorial. The Death Cert has his Birth/death dates and wife's name and his father and mother's name. Could you added them to this Soldier's memorial.
I am not related to him but to his g-daughter. But when I saw his memorial I did a little research to fill in the gaps.
Thank you for the many Memorials and especially this one I hope this will help other members of his family.

Albert Remley
Albert was not married to Inez Lord that I know of ---
I have him on the 1860 and 1870 census with his parents in OH. He married Jennie about 1878 and their first child was born in 1879. I suppose there could have been a very short marriage between 1870 and 1878 that I don't know about. I have looked for his obit on-line - but no luck.
I think he and Jennie were married until they both died in 1935.
We are related/connected to his son Harry Austin Remley that married Edna Josephine Lindquist.

Ruth Cree Memorial# 101357203
I was very surprised and thrilled to see the headstone photo you added (10/23/2014) for Ruth Cree. Thank you! I found Ruth's Memorial last week and have been searching for information to confirm that this Ruth Cree was the wife of Axel Cree.

This morning I found and transcribed information regarding the Cree family. The information is from the Biographies of the Early Families of the Town of Busti, Chautauqua County, New York. It was compiled by Lucy Darrow Peake, Historian of the Town of Busti, April 1960.

Is it possible for you to add a short bio to Ruth Cree's Memorial?

RE: Edward Wolfe
Hi, yes I am. My 3x gr. grandmother was Adelaide Wolfe married to George Bouvier. Her brother was Edward married to first Gertrude Amelia Keller, & second to Theodosia Bown. I just started actively researching him & his family last week.

Lopus/Ransom
According to the 1930 and 1940 census Joie was married to Lynn Ransom and is female.
Pauline Lopus and F. Pauline Lopus are the same person and I think my entry is right since it matches the stone. She was my guidance counselor in junior high school and I know she never married. Joie's maiden name was Lopus and all I see has her married to Lynn Ransom. Hope this is clear.

Burdell Goodman @ Grandview
According to our records, he is interred in one of the community crypts in the lower level of the west mausoleum. I've cross-checked the dates and added them to his page, which appear to match yours, however, he also shows in the Rootsweb California Death Index as having died in Los Angeles County.

I'll be gone all day today, but will check further when I get back to the computer tonight....
