Bio Photo Ohio girl who likes cemeteries so much that she had her wedding photograph taken in one :)

If you're a descendant of someone and would like me to transfer the memorial to you, I certainly will (as long as I'm not related also).

I try to make corrections/additions quickly (within a couple days), so please if you see an error, let me know. If you see a duplication, and my memorial was created after the original one, please let me know and I will delete it. Don't be offended if I don't write to you afterwards, telling you that I've completed the corrections. I work full time and have two little boys, and therefore I do not have a lot of extra time. (I do write back to people if you think we have a familial connection).

My dad's side comes from Crawford County, Ohio. My mom's lines were mostly from Darke/Miami/Montgomery Counties in Ohio, and Cass/Miami Counties, Indiana.
My husband's lines are from WV (mainly Mingo/Logan Counties, the Parkersburg area, and Jackson/Roane/Lewis Counties).

Darlene Swonger
Stewart Cemetery
Buckeyegirl,
I am writing regarding two graves in the Stewart Cemetery. They are listed under the name of Swonger.
One is Nancy Estella Swonger and the one that
I am curious about is unknown. No information.
Nancy is the grandaughter of who I AM looking for.

I have looked intensily for a Sarah Ann Boyd Swonger. Her spouse was John Swonger who died
in the Civil War and John is buried in the
Stones River National Cemetery in Murfreesboro, Rutherford Co., Tennessee. It is possible that
the unknown site is Sara Ann Boyd Swonger b1809 John and Sarah were from Pennsylvania and were married in Pennsylvania. My records show that Sarah died February 28, 1874 in Bucyrus, Crawford Co., Ohio. John's military record shows he served with the 64th Regiment Ohio Infantry. The 1870 census has Sarah and son John living in Liberty, Crawford Co., Ohio.
That is the information I have on Sarah

If you have any way of searching for any clues that might identify the unknow grave or any other records you could search to find Sarah
Ann Boyd Swonger I would be thrilled. I have searched for her along time. It seems that it
is possible, I can only hope. Thank you for
your effort.
Sincerly,
Darlene Swonger

Marcum Cemeteries
Hi, I sent you a private message on facebook about the Marcum Cemetery at Naugatuck.
You have 27 people in that cemetery....Marcum Cemetery at Delbarton, which need to be transferred to Marcum Cemetery, head of Big Laurel Branch, Naugatuck, Mingo Co, WV.
I already have Louise Runyon Dillon transferred by Kentucky Hill Hunter to the new cemetery. In case you needed to look at Jerry Leslie Dillon's wife to see what the link is.

Thanks.

RE: Marcum cemeteries
Thanks anyway. That's sort of like the Howard Cemeteries in Kentucky. So many. Appreciate the response.

Louise Runyon Dillon
Hi saw your message to someone on your message page.
Do you also Know if the Marcum Cemetery at Naugatuck
contains the graves of Louise Runyon Dillion and Jerry Leslie "Leck" Dillon? Someone has him in the Marcum Cemetery at Delbarton, but his wife's obituary stated she was buried in Marcum at Naugatuck. I would appreciate your help.

Marcum-Spaulding Cemetery, you have in Mingo Co, WV
Hi, I'm sort of confused on why you have listed 27 people in a cemetery you named Marcum-Spaulding Cemetery in Mingo Co, WV and it's the same set of people that are in the Marcum Cemetery at the Mouth of Stonecoal, which is in Wayne Co, WV.?

You had said something in your bio about if there were any started before you that you wanted to be aware of them....and it seems that Della Lilly had started this cemetery in February and you did yours in Nov of the year 2010.

I've been to this cemetery,...the Marcum Cemetery at mouth of Stonecoal and it's got a lot of people buried there. But I haven't been for many years. If you are wondering about some of the people that are in both, I know one is Ulysses G. Marcum, Memorial # # 48086966. His wife is Frances Spaulding, who you also have a memorial for.

Just wondering if there was some confusion here as I wanted to put the name of the cemetery correct for my people that I know are buried there.
