Born and raised in High Point, N.C. Attended college in Mars Hill,N.C. First marriage was to a Mars Hill boy whom I met in College. We had two great children (1 of each) before divorcing. I then married career Air Force of German descent. He was the only one of his family born in the U.S. Because of his career, we lived in Kansas and Germany. I am a genealogist,a defender of the Constitution, and a lover of the history of the country. Being out of the 8 to 5 rat race has given me more time for that pursuit of happiness. I hope everyone finds it! Irma

James Forrester Harrison
Hey Irma!

I show James and his wife Lebannon King as being buried in Oakdale Cemetery in Mt. Airy, but they don't have them listed. If that what you have?

Also, was James married more than once? And, do you know where Jesse Rupert Harrison is buried?

Well you are welcome.
By the way My great great grandmother must have been friends with a John Perry. If you go to
Mary Melvina Whitwell
McClain Cemetery
Lewis Co. Tn.
you can see a photo of him in her front yard.
That is her in the background.
I don't know if you are related to him, if you are I would love to post more info in regards to him on her page. She lived in Perry Co. for a while, then moved to Lewis Co. and lived in the Mt. Joy area.

Thank you so much for sending me the correction for JFC's death date. I just got off Ancestry and saw where no one person with a family tree with him on it had the same birth and death dates, but you are right, he was alive in the late 1800's. The transcription I was working off of had his death date as 1997. I knew he wasn't THAT old when he passed, so I thought maybe the first nine should have been an 8, but it was the second nine that was the error. Anyway, I've got him fixed up. I truly appreciate you spotting my mistake. Take care and thanks again!

Hello Irma
If I left a flower, it is because I was visiting the site. I randomly go and leave flowers for people and not always for people with my last name.

It's something that I like to do and it's a privlage and a honor to do so. Thank You for your concern and I hope that you have a blessed week.

Take Care,
