I have been researching genealogy since August, 1989. I have traced some of my family back to England and France/Germany. My husband's family back to the East Coast, but not sure where they came from..|
I have 4 children, 11 grandchildren and 8 gr-grandchildren.
I volunteer at the local genealogy library on Monday afternoons.
I very much love putting up Memorials for loved ones. I also add others when I find an obit I can use for the dates. This is such a great site and I meet so many nice people.
Your tombstone stands among the rest neglected and alone. The name and date are chiselled out on polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care; It is too late to mourn. You did not know that I exist; you died and I was born. Yet each of us are cells of you in flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse; entirely not our own. Dear Ancestor, the place you filled one hundred years ago spreads out among the ones you left who would have loved you so. I wonder if you lived and loved, I wonder if you knew that someday I would find this spot, and come to visit you. )

I was just going through some of the family graves and came across this one for Lizzie's twin. The twin was a girl also.

Thank you for Marion's obit. I do not take papers. He was a very good friend of mine and I wanted to do his memorial page. I will add it to his page.
Thank you for all the wonderful work you do on Find A Grave.

Hello - I checked the memorials and Rebecca is linked to her husband. Are you seeing something else?
Thanks - Jeff
Never mind. I realized which one you meant.

Which Spratt? Which cemetery? I just need a little more info, please.

I was updating my family tree and came across the posting of my Dad's obituary. His name was misspelled, and I wanted to correct it. It should be Denzel Eugene Hale. I am his oldest child, Dottie.
|Teryl||Homer Sisson memorial page|
I would be the great grand daughter of William Posey Sisson and his first wife Lillie Virginia Grissom. I saw that you created a memorial page for his son, Homer Sisson--thank you so much!
Are you related? I am trying to find "Sisson" relatives who might have photos and stories of our mutual ancestors.
Hope to hear from you soon.
And again thank you for creating the memorial page. It really means a lot to me.
