Find A Grave is a great way to build a family tree as well as find and share information. My brother, Steve Higgerson, has done a great deal of research into the family history, and his findings are the basis of what I have posted here. Over the past 25 years I have taken many pictures of old gravestones, some of which no longer exist, and it is these pictures that I am anxious to share, as well as the information. My intent is to post information at this site that is free from errors. All too often I see dates and facts about family history that are inaccurate, and I want to correct that as best I can. I hold myself to the same standard, so if anything that I have posted at this site is incorrect, you would be doing me a great favor in pointing it out to me. All information I post is the most accurate information that I have at my disposal. Thanks for reading, and be in touch.|

No, sorry, I don't know anything about the stone or whether it's being taken care of. Just researching through the internet to try and connect family members.
I have added the photo to Earl's memorial as well as military stone for Earl and Paul J Coons.

|susan ellison||RE: New Information on Alvilda Nygaard|
thanks for the quick response, my husband's paternal grandma is Mabel Myhre who is the daughter of Alvilde Nygaard. For a while there, I had a hard time finding her second marriage due the fact that her first name gets misspelled so many times, but I am so thrilled to be able to find her second marriage and figure out where and when she died because it looks like no one has figured it out on ancestry but no more I finally located her death. I am also in contact with Carol Johansen who is the great grand daughter of Louise Myhre. YES of course, I would love to exchange information with you. I have a couple of photos of Alvilde. write me please so we can share.

The New Prospect cemetery at one time was called Bounds Creek Cemetery and it is less than 5 miles to Greenville Missouri. Yes, he is buried there :)I promise you ! Kind of funny, I received your e-mail on this cemetery, because I was looking through some stuff today and was going to add some things to my bio and this was one of the cemeteries, what a small world :)

your name was attached to Alvilda Nygaard and there is not mention of her death. I am able to locate that info today & want to share it with so you can add to it. She remarried after Ludwig Myhre to a 2nd husband by the name Randolph Mieling in yr 1855 Chicago Ward 14, Cook Ill. She had more children with Mieling and their names are in 1930 census. Children with Mieling are: Minnie, Gustave, Charles Aflred(appear in later birth registration) & Roy. Her children with Myhre are: Carl, Mabel, Violet and Louise (Lulu). She died on Oct 25 1939 in Chicago Cook, ILL, Cemetry: Bluff City. FHL Film # 1953491
