I began my interest in genealogy in Girl Scouts, to earn a badge. I put it to the side for a few years. Once I became a parent, I took an interest in it again. I have been very consumed with Genealogy for the past twenty years. I was a member of the Kerrville Genealogical Society for the past few years. I was the Chair of the Cemetery Committee in the Historical Commission for a decade. Between two job, family and friends, I squeeze as much time as I can into my favorite pastime. I am working to go back to school for my Genealogical Certification. Trying to learn as much about Texas History as I can along the way has become a newfound passion of mine. I am no longer in Texas, so I am not able to take photos in the Hill Country as quickly.
