RE: James I Baker Memorial
No, there was no marker. His grave is to the left of the one shown.

RE: Thank you so Much!
You're so welcome. Sometimes stones themselves are difficult to read or photograph, but I don't understand not removing grass, weeds, etc. so that all information is visible in the photograph.

I do not do transfers anymore. So many who just had to have a transfer for "good old uncle Henry" so they could maintain his memorial, have not done a thing more to them than I had done. I don't know if they come by once a month to see if they are still there and but what maintainence would there be in that? I can't see that you ever did anything with the ones you just had to have in the Apache Creek Cemetery. If you have something you'd like to add to the memorial, send it and I'll be glad to add it and give you the credit.

RE: Eula Wingo
Hi, Bobbie! :) NICE to meet YOU!! :)

I thank you, sincerely, for transferring Eula's memorial. I'll be happy to share whatever I have on the Wingo family. I think I may have a few more pictures of Pete & Eula, too. I'll have to look.

The time frame's fine. I understand how "life" goes! Mighty kind of you!

That's a neat story about you & your Mama and the pictures. I LOVED IT! :) Sound about normal. My Mama hasn't "left us", yet...but, she's 90 and doesn't have hardly any memory left. Thankfully, over the years, she's told me a little bit and I'm grateful. So MANY photos we have, and I couldn't tell you who they are, and no one wrote on the back of them. SO frustrating.

Like I said - I'll most assuredly share whatever info I have, and if I don't know it - maybe we can find it, together! :)

THANKS, again, ever-so-much, for being so kind! Eula Mattie Scott Vaughan Wingo was my husband's Great Aunt; daughter of Charles Wesley Vaughan & Sarah Louisa Scott (Sadie) Vineyard Vaughan. Eula's sister was my husband's Grandmother's sister. His Grandma, known to them as "Grandma Yates" divorced his Grandpa when his Mother, Cuba Jeane Yates, was still very young. Grandma Yates was a "trooper", though.

Wasn't Pete's Mom's name Harriet? I found a census from 1940 in Plainview with Harriet, Pete, and his younger sister, Marie (Oldham), there.

Let me know what I can help with! I'll be happy to...and, whatever else I can help with, Dear!

TAKE CARE!! :)

RE: Now that was dumb...
This cemetery also presents me with a block card, that assists in locating gravestones or pinpoints the exact location for those without a marker. The block card lists every plot and who is buried within each section/block. Without this aid, it would be nearly impossible to find folks at Greenwood, since it is a HUGE cemetery. I do appreciate your thank you. :-)
Regards,

Barbara

What is neat is that our families cross over and fill in some important gaps for each other

btw my name is shane and if the kemps are your relatives are are kin!

Thank You for this photo
Thank You for this photo. My name is Mandy Williams I'm doing research on the Wright family.
I believe Charity Wright (Louisa's mother) is buried in this cemetery. If you or anyone has information on this person, I would appreciate it.
Thank You again ....

RE: Emory Solomon Rains 105773262
I'm so glad you were able to talk to her so quickly. I'm happy to do it. I just look on the bright side -the effort made a correction possible. I will let the photo requester know. Do you happen to know which cemetery?

Thank you!

Emory Solomon Rains 105773262
Hello Bobbie ~

Recently, I claimed a photo request of Emory Solomon Rains (105773262), a memorial that you created. However, I've spoken to the City of Tombstone, which manages the cemetery, and they have no record of Mr. Rains being buried there. They do have Carroll Jefferson Rains, however. Do you have any documentation that shows he's buried there? The City claims they are no lost records.

Thank you!

Sara
