I am an Irish soul trapped inside a California girl (I'll explain if asked). Most of the lines I am researching are in the south and midwest so it is impossible for me to visit cemeteries for myself and I greatly appreciate finding information and pictures on the Find A Grave website. I began researching my family lines in the mid 1990's. Almost every person I have added to this site is in some way connected to a branch of my family. If you find information that is incorrect I would like to be contacted so I may correct it. I also wish to express appreciation to those who also share information via this website. If you are related to anyone I have posted I would like to hear from you.|

|D. Montgomery||Mary Lucnda Powell Bartholomew|
Hello. You posted on Oct 22 2007 a memorial for "aunt Del" (Martha Bartholomew) # 22376193. A year earlier another memorial was posted by Jeanne Linnerud-Kojo for the same person (See Find A Grave mem # 16345940) on Oct 27 2006. Yours is a duplicate and yours was posted after the original memorial. Can you please correct this oversight by removing yours as it is contrary to Find A Grave policy and confuses searchers like myself.
Thank you. D. Montgomery

Sharon, would you also like to transfer my great-great grandparents, William H. and Olive Power, to me? Their #'s are 25927655 and 25927712. Thanks!

Thank you for posting information about the Power family members that are buried in Mt. Joy Cemetery in Monroe County, MO. David Thomas and Lucy are my great-grandparents. Are you related to them/me? Also, would you be interested in transferring their memorials to me? I would be happy to take them over. David, 35449194, Lucy, 40144728. Thank you and keep up the good work!
|Lois Ams||Jeremiah Powell 1806-1880|
Sharon, this is in regards to Jeremiah Powell born 1806 and died 1818 and is buried in the Colusa Community Cemetery - memorial number 20883999. You have his parents as Alvan Powell born 1816 and Julia Ann Beavers Powell born 1818. I keep thinking I must be missing something but Jeremiah cannot be Alvan's son but maybe a brother? I went on Ancestry.com and looked up Jeremiah and according to the census he was born in 1806 or thereabouts. If he is Alvan and Julia's son then he was born before either one of his parents.
Thanks so much for all your hard work. I am doing genealogy research for my niece whose great grandparents were Charles W. Powell and Anna Margaret Clark. Alvan's father Robert would be my nieces 3rd great grand uncle, Find a Grave has been so very helpful on this line.

My grandfather is Benjamin Harrison Chapin....so I believe Paul Chapin to be my great grandfather. My grandmother, Edith Rumsey was Ben Chapin's first wife and together they had a child, Julia Annette Chapin, which was my mother.
