Hi I'm Jay Follett.|
I'm researching my ancestors and their descendants:
Paternal: Kirby, Christoffersen, Follett, Niles, Morrill, Stokes, Hansen, Gibson, Woolf, Irons, Jorgensen.
Maternal: Hamilton, Hester, Jones, Owens, Chandler, Copeland, Bartlett, Orr, Mitchell, Pond, Judd, Orr (among others).
I've also created many memorials for many unrelated people including many from local cemeteries in New Mexico and other places. If you want a transfer for any of these, let me know. Not really in it for the numbers or personal credit but more of a public service. Its not about me but them.
My fathers side of the family include pioneers and immigrants who joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Mom's side were southerners, mostly Baptists and Methodists, and include a few colorful characters.
I hope the legacy of my memorials will enable others to find and know their ancestors, to preserve our history and to honor those who have gone before us and made us who we are.
Thanks to the many photo volunteers, folks who have added details and links and others who have collaborated in this effort.
If you have corrections, additional information, pictures or would like to add links, let me know and your or I can add them to the memorials I have created.
You are free to use any photo or other data I have added for person use or for family history or for use on ancestry.com or other family history web sites.
I've tried to connect as may of my relatives as I can find in findagrave.
In addition to findagrave, ancestry.com also has my ancestors and their descendants in the tree jayfollett. I have around 12,000+ people in this tree (and growing).
Thanks and happy hunting.
P.S. When I started using findagrave there were less than 20 million names. Pretty amazing site.
I recently took ancestry.com DNA test and I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs a boost in identifying ancestors and their descendants.

I believe we're related through Golda Christofferson! Pretty interesting, hoping to see if we could message to confirm and get more named added to my family tree on ancestry! I also did the DNA!

Enclosed is a 1940 Census link showing Aurelia Trujillo as his wife whom he was married till she died 2 years before he died. Feel free to call me with any questions.

He was NEVER married to Rufina Lovato's mother josefita montoya. She was an illegitimate child born out of wedlock. He was married to Aurelia Trujillo till her death 2 years before his death. Enclosed is a link showing Aurelia was his wife. Feel free to call me with any questions.

You have the wrong spouse on my granpa. his spouse was Aurelia Trujillo, not josefita montoya. You need to correct this and remove josefita montoya

Would you please consider transferring management of William E. Van Goidtsnoven #67855764. I am related to the family through my great grandmother, sister of Ameilia Van Goidtsnoven.

Hello Jay: thanks for the prompt attention you gave our request to add a note regarding Victoria McMullan being William's first wife. It was important as our link is through their child Ora "Montie" Moore.
Thanks too for all your efforts to date - the volunteers on this sight and everyone who contributes links, photos, or walks the cemeteries are much appreciated.

You are quite welcome. I am glad you were interested in what I found out. I was not sure rather to send the information and let you know. You might want to know that her family is part of the Belle Plain Cemetery group and she will always be part of the cemetery, even though she is not buried there.
