TO REQUEST LINKING A MEMORIAL TO FAMILY MEMBERS:|
Please be very careful about the numbers, I've had many that if I had used the ones submitted the wrong families would be linked. It is also helpful if you put the name of the person, along with the number, I can do a search if I don't think the number is correct.
TO REQUEST A TRANSFER PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
(PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS MESSAGE BOARD FOR YOUR REQUEST FOR A TRANSFER, I DON'T CHECK THE BOARD DAILY)
I will be more than happy transfer any memorial page as long as:
1. You follow the simple directions below
2. The memorial is not MY OWN family or one that I am researching.
3. ONE request at a time. (Go to each memorial page and make the request from there using the "Edit" tab at top right of the memorial page)
A) Go to the MEMORIAL PAGE you want transferred
B) Click on the "Edit" tab at the top right of the page, then click on the "Suggest a correction or provide additional information" link.
C) In the Message: area type in YOUR MEMBER NUMBER , your reason for transfer AND your relationship to the person you've requested.
Requesting a transfer this way insures that no mistakes are made because it takes me to the exact memorial you want plus it provides me with all the numbers I need to complete the transfer.
YOU WILL GET A PROMPT REPLY IF YOU FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
(Thanks to Nancy Hough for posting these instructions which I have shamelessly borrowed..)
If you write me about any of my listings, PLEASE tell me the cemetery and the state it is in, ALONG WITH THE NAME OF THE DECEASED. I've worked in at least three states, as well as being involved with many other databases, it becomes difficult to find one particular person!
Some of my information comes from other researchers who have given permission to use here. My thanks to all of you. A very special 'thank you' goes to my daughter, Joy Gabbert McKillip, and my friend Janelle Foster. They have both helped me in the cemeteries and I couldn't have done much without them.

Thank you so much for all you do thru Find A Grave. Your efforts are GREATLY appreciated. To the ones of us who are no longer able to visit cemeteries, it really means a lot to visit them thru Find A Grave. Until I got to the point I can no longer go, I used to visit the cemeteries seeking
relatives graves. Now at the age of 87 and in guarded health I am unable to get out much. I depend very much on Find A Grave for my visits to cemeteries. Thank you for helping make this possible. I hope you won't mind my using a copy of your photos for my family files on Ancestry and Family Treemaker. Please keep up your good work and thanks to your helpers also. Tell them for me.

Hello Joyce, Robert was a relative of mine and I was wondering if I may use his headstone photo on my personal, private family tree? Thank you very much!

And for Nancy Ellen Brown Gibson. I appreciate having the honor of maintaining their memorials as their great granddaughter.
I am sorry for my delayed response as your transfer went to my Junk mail folder.
Again, thank you for your generosity.

Thank you for your generosity and all that you do for Find A Grave
|Stacy Galassini||Lena Orendorff|
Joyce, I hope you didn't think I was criticizing your memorial of my great grandmother. I was just thinking more info could be added. I will happily accept the transfer though. I can do Charles G. (with Lena), Wayne, and David Orendorff as well. Thanks for all the work you do.
|Donald Tuttle||Cantrells of Portales|
Thanks so much for the updates on John Cantrell and his family. I discovered a connection to the Cantrells back in the Carolinas in the 1700's. If it is correct, John would be my 8th cousin! He and my Dad taught at PHS in the 60's.
|Sherry King||Claude Boone|
Good afternoon Joyce,
Curtis M. Boone was my uncle and I'd like permission to use his photo in the genelogy information I'm gathering for my sisters and me. My Grandfater was Claude Berle (spelling?)Boone. I knew his father was Sam Bass Boone and his brother was Curtis and sisters Lela and Clessie. I found his death record and it lists his mother as a Sewell but since his birthday is 1903 and Sam and Lena were married in 1900, Lena is probably also his mother. I've found the graves of his parents, Curtis, Lela and Clessie but nothing on grandpa. I'm not even sure where he's buried. Thank-you for all the work you contribute.
Have a Great Day,
