Bio and Links
Bio Photo My researching of family began, after the birth of my grandson Max in 1997, when my daughter-in-law gave me a version of Family Tree Maker. As a child I always loved mysteries. I read my mother's Ellery Queen novels, watched Perry Mason episodes and my favorite board game was Clue. I always thought how much fun it would be to work as a detective. I guess, in my own way, I do.

I firmly believe that our ancestors deserve more than just dates on their memorials. It is because of that philosophy that I try to add as much of the information that is available to me. Thank you for either your help or your understanding when I fall short.

The surnames I am searching and recording from my paternal side are:
Gibson, Keller, Miller, Ploehs, Reed and Walkinshaw
& from my maternal side, they are:
Beamer, Cunningham, Nelson, Peterson, Park, Parke, Parks, Perrell, Snow and Wiseman

For those who wonder...
Why the number of memorials managed is higher than the number of memorials created?
This is due to some generous F*A*G contributors who decided to transfer some of their memorials to myself and others.
Thank you...
I feel honored to be one of the recipients entrusted to care for these postings.

Marcia, I made an error in my previous message by omitting reference to your memorial numbers. Please accept my apology. The correct information, which also includes your memorial numbers follows:

Simon S Bair, # 86204188, son of Jonas Bair and Elizabeth Snyder, married Lucinda Rosenberry, # 86204199 on 3-17-1861 in Tuscarawas, OH. They are in the 1900 census in Daviess Ind, and Lucinda is the mother of 4, 1 living. Their children: Sarah J, Emma, Mary Clara and Maggie.

Sarah C Rosenberry,(Lucinda's sister) your memorial # 137592542, married Simon Bair, your memorial # 137592514 the son of Jacob G Bair and Mary Sliffe. They are in the 1900 census in Dover OH. Their children: William J and Oliver Pearl.

Sarah and Lucinda married different Simon Bairs.

(I am not sure that your Simon Bair's middle name is Sliffe, as his mother was Elizabeth Snyder. Perhaps the S is for Snyder?, I don't know. The census info indicates Simon S as Lucinda's spouse.)

Thank you again and I apologize for the confusion.

86204188 and 86204199
Hello,

I have a Rosenberry family tree and I would like you to make a correction.

Lucinda's sister, Sarah C Rosenberry, married Simon Bair, the son of Jacob G Bair and Mary Sliffe. They are in the 1900 census in Dover OH.

Sarah and Lucinda married different Simon Bairs.

(I am not sure that Simon S Bair's middle name is Sliffe, as his mother was Elizabeth Snyder.Perhaps the S is for Snyder?, I don't know.)

Thank you for correcting your notes!

Creed Mitchell Brown
I am again requesting that you remove the memorial regarding Creed Mitchell Brown. The erroneous info contained is not based on fact and is misleading those who are trying to document legitimate facts. The cemetery you placed him in wasn't even opened until the 1950's so how can he be buried there? The scenario you present as a "bio" is full of errors and untruths! Present ONLY FACTS and leave the creative writing out of it PLEASE!!

Allbaugh's buried in East Springfield cemetery ohio
I left you a public message in September telling you that the Allbaugh's are not buried in East Springfield. I gave you the correct burials and memorial numbers. You should remove your East Springfield memorials because the information is incorrect.
