I got into genealogy in 2007 and I just love it. The main families I'm researching are: Powers, Bell, Benford, Warren, and McIntosh on my father's side and Hawk, Herndon, Dunlap, Lunsford, and Davis on my mother's side. I will gladly share any information I have.|

|Richard Finch||RE: Seth T. Harrell, Sr - 2 memorials in 2 cemeteries|
I went by Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Ohatchee this morning and yes Seth T Harrell is in this cemetery. Sorry it took so long to get back to u but I want to go to the cemetery and make sure, just have not had the time to go.

|NGL||Seth Harrell, Jr.|
He and his mother, Mildred, and other Harrell's are buried in BETHEL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH CEMETERY, Peeks Hill Road, Calhoun Co., AL. I knew this family and I took pictures at Bethel UMC. He has a duplicate memorial in the other Bethel Cemetery in Calhoun Co., AL. Kind regards, ngl

|Pat Carter||Hello Janie!|
I'm doing okay. Of course I will have to say I had a stroke five years ago.
But I am doing okay.

Thanks, and thanks for the heads up about the dupe! :)

Thanks for pointing that out. I will be checking with the cemetery office (both San Marcos and Escondido are in the same district) sometime this week to verify which cemetery he is in. I suspect I mixed up the photos.
Janie, it's ok, I won't mind and accuracy is more important than numbers. ;)

Yes, I have been to both cemeteries and each memorial that I created is in the correct cemetery. It appears to me that Antioch cemetery is a small black cemetery, and Antioch Baptist Church is/was a white church cemetery. This was several years ago, and I think I remember telling the person who placed memorials in the wrong cemetery about it, but never followed up to see if they did anything about it. I can't force them to place them in the correct cemetery. I'm thinking that they got the info on line and placed them in the wrong cemetery by mistake. For the small Antioch cemetery, I took photos of every marker that I could see, however, there may be many without markers. Not sure what to tell you, only that all of mine are correct, in fact when I realized that there were two cemeteries with the same name so close to each other, I created Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery to try to sort it out. I think this person placed Antioch Baptist Church people in the Antioch cemetery, because it was the only Antioch cemetery in Henry Co on Find A Grave at the time.

The other is probably right. I deleted the memorial I had added. Two cemeteries are across the street from each other. One comes over and part of it is inside the other. I didn't know that at the time. Thanks
