many a silent tear,
but always a beautiful memory
of one we loved so dear.

God gave us strength to bear it,
and courage to take the blow,
but what it meant to lose you

...no one will ever know.

I have found that many of the cemeteries in West Virginia have 2 or more names, and are listed twice in the Find-A-Grave website. Sometimes listings are duplicated. I don't know if this is the case here, but it is a possibility. One example is Palm Memorial Gardens in Wyoming County, WV. It is also known as Hillcrest Gardens and many of the graves are duplicated in both cemeteries. I believe someone would actually have to go to the cemeteries and check records to verify the actual burial sites/cemetery names.

Sorry, I should have left a message in explanation. Since they don't have that option when sending edit requests. More than likely the death cert is incorrect. I tend to believe the draft card with 1893 since he was alive to give the information over an informant on a death cert. Also you may notice one of his siblings was born in 1889. Sorry can't remember which one and my tablet is playing up and won't load the memorial page properly so I can't double check which I am referring to.

Records indicate they are buried in St. Marys Cemetery in Cleveland. They are my great grandparents and I have tried unsuccessfully to locate their graves. I notice you have been successful ! I wonder if you might have a notation as to the exact location of their grave. The Cleveland Catholic Cemetery Assoc. indicates they have very poor records on this cemetery. So any help would be greatfully appreciated !

That is so horrible. I was living in Gallatin at that time, but don't remember hearing anything about it at the time, just many years later.

Again, so sad.

Thanks for telling her story.

RE: Everett Bingham
You're welcome. It is easy to mix the two cemeteries. They are only a few miles from each other. Thanks
