Bio and Links
Bio Photo If anyone has anything to add to a memorial I've made PLEASE let me know and I will be glad to add the information! I Love to link their parents to each memorial or have their obituary to add.
I'm interested about who my ancestors were and how they may have influenced who I am today. I am also researching my husbands ancestors and am learning as much as I can to pass on to our daughter. It's also fascinating to learn about the many different church backgrounds they all have had.
Still searching in PA!!
I found this through a friend:

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone

It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.

Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.

Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.

I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

RE: Roger LA Wiles Memorial# 28579279
As long as it is readable, it works for me. Though is picture marked as other instead of a grave, that would be helpful.

Got your message. I will delete my memorial for Barbara Olson as it was entered after another one. You may want to post the pic of her marker to #137417198

It was a duplicate, posted because of my typo in his birth year. I've deleted the memorial.

Thanks for letting me know

Cecelia C Menchey
Hi Laura,
I just sent you an edit for Cecelia that I took from her PA death certificate which states that she was born in 1853, go figure? She was the daughter of William Stone and Margaret Bevard. Thanks,

Several months ago I was having issues with people not responding to requests to add or update memorials. After asking many times I mailed a letter to findagrave. Within weeks everything that I had been trying to do through edits and emails was taken care of through findagrave. Maybe this approach would work for you.

RE: Pet Haven Cemetery in Georgia
I've been following what seems logical given the rules for human memorials.

I'm sure you've seen the following in the FAQ, but in case you haven't:

Can I add a memorial for my pet?
Yes, when we say we want to list the burial locations of everyone, we're not kidding. Pets are an important part of many of our lives and their deaths can be a great loss.
You may want to use your family's last name as the pet's last name, to make it easier to find the memorial at a later date.
If the pet is buried in a pet cemetery, the memorial is listed as such. In the event that the pet was buried in the backyard or other non-cemetery location, please use the Family and Friends form. Select 'other' for burial, and then during step 2 select 'non cemetery burial' and fill in the detailed information.

It doesn't say anything about what to do if the headstone doesn't mention a family name. Therefore, "unknown".

Best regards.
