I'm Angela and I live near Gettysburg PA in a small town called New Oxford. My town borders the counties of York and Adams.I am collecting data for my family tree: |
Whitaker, Rushbrook,Chambers, Petts, Knuckles, Harman,Kiser and Leedy in VA,Tenn,WV, Ky.
Boyd,Saltry,Neville,Doyle in Scranton PA and Ireland
Fisher, Lurding and Martin, McCawley,Bodemann in Jefferson IN/KY.
Locally I focus on the Becker,Hetrick,Zartman, Myers, Lau, Renoll, Hohf, Bailey, Shue, Doll,Jacobs and Dell families for my husbands family tree.
I'm pleased to take photos in my area south Central PA for anyone who needs them from any family. I am a photographer for pleasure and really enjoy learning the family histories from the groundskeepers. please let me know if I can help you. I have dedicated 3 hours a week to taking photos so I will try to get your photos within 7 days of your request. My goal is to add photo's for every Memorial I have added. This will come with time. If a Memorial doesn't have a photo and you would like one, please request it from the Memorial page.
On all transfer requests, include your relationship to the deceased. I'll process them only if they fall within Find A Grave guidelines
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations and they are not part of my direct Pedigree line.
This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Please state the exact relationship to the deceased when making a transfer request per Copyright Fundamentals for Genealogy
You may use and copy my photos, however, its a lot of work and travel and is quite frustrating to see my photos across the internet attributed to others so I ask only that you attribute them to Angela Whitaker-Becker;for Findagrave;firstname.lastname@example.org.

Thank you for the reply. Do you know who Mark's parents were are if they immigrated when he did?
My g-grandfather Fred, left Haworth, a neighboring town of Dewsbury, 150 yrs later.
From what I've been able to find out, the family is concentrated in that area with few exceptions throughout history. Should you not feel comfortable sharing further info, I respectfully understand.
Thanks for your time.
I am also a Whitaker (Philadelphia) . Am curious to know if you have any history from that branch of your family. I'm the first and only family genealogist for my paternal family.
Any response would be appreciated.

Just fulfilled your request for a photo. Sorry, you can see my legs in the headstone. I'll retake the photo on my next trip to the cemetery.

I just fulfilled your request for Woodrow Whitaker. His named was spelled with a double "t" on the head stone and in the office.
Also there was an adjoining headstone with the name "Mary Lou Whittaker" b.-5/22/1926 d.- 7/24/2002.
If you create a memorial for her I can submit her photo as well.
