I have been interested in genealogy a long time. I remember going on vacations and looking in phone books for people with my last name. I think that it is good to know where you come from to help you know where you are going. I have always found cemeteries to be interesting and informative. I am willing to take photos of cemeteries throughout central and south Texas. My wife is a descendent of the original Castro colony settlers. She comes with me sometimes to locate grave requests. She has better eyes. I take the photos. I really enjoy helping people find their relatives gravestones. If you would like me to take down a memorial or make a correction I will do so. I put up memorials for people so people can "visit" their loved ones online if they wish.
Surnames I am researching are Dorrycott, Caffrey, Yaw, Boothe, Jewell, Robuck, Carter, Caffey. Haass, Whigham, Carpenter, Wood, Williamson, Worsham, Simpson. If you can help I would appreciate it. Thank you for all your help.
As for the photos I take, if it is from a request completed for you considerate it yours. If you have any questions about whether you can use it just ask and I will grant permission. | |

Many thanks. I was given some very old inventories of Guadalupe County cemeteries. I cannot keep any more paper in my house! Consequently, I am trying to be sure all info is in findagrave before I discard them. Have been working on Staples/Happle/Tuttle for a couple of weeks.
