I have been actively pursuing my passion for genealogy since 1997. As I child my parents would diligently pour over records in libraries and courthouses during our family vacations (my childhood nightmare). Thankfully I've come to respect their interest and value their findings. I believe it's our responsibility to document our heritage because once it's forgotten it's gone.
