|Bio and Links|
A FEW NOTES:|
1st: I created most of these memorials before the family linking system was established. I realize not all my people are linked through this system and I'm fine with that because I have posted family connections in the bio section. So PLEASE stop telling me I must link my people because I do not it's a service provided it's not mandatory.
2nd: I temporarily will not be accepting requests for memorial transfers.
Why am I doing this? Because I am tired of dealing with rude and obnoxious people who have been demanding that I link my people or transfer people to them, including MY own grandmother and my husband's mother. And then have them tell me that they will be contacting a Find-A-Grave administrator if I don't comply with them.
***-*-*-*-*-* I can't say I really appreciate the nasty messages and emails I've been getting for not doing what you want me to do in a timely manner.
So many of you are having a hard time understanding the fact that I am not transfering any memorials and/or editing them at this time. I realize it might be hard for some people to understand the world does not revolve around them and other people might have personal issues going on and can't focus on other people's demands.
Not that it's any of your business but I have been helping my mother with her congestive heart failure (as well as family) and been at hospitals more then my own house. But I'm sure now that she's on Hospice I'll be finding the time soon. By hey, silly me for not putting your needs first.
My pervious reasons for not transfering and/or editing memorials still stands and like I tried to nicely state before I will get to them when I get to them. This is not because I don't want to help people like some of you have stated. It has more to do with the selfishness of the instant gratification world we currently live in. I am sorry if this seem rude but I don't care since I'm beyond fed up. And I do apologize for your inconvenience and apparent inability to use a search bar. *-*-*-*-*-***
I thank you for your understanding.
I am a volunteer cemetery photographer and cemetery hunter for Ray County, Missouri. I try to find the "lost to history" cemeteries. My family and I also try to leave old abandoned cemeteries better than we found them. From simply putting flowers back on graves (my daughter) to righting fallen stones (my son & my husband), we've even been know to dig covered stones up to right them again. So please feel free to contact me if you need any information on the cemeteries of Ray County, Missouri.
For additional information regarding any of the family members I contributed please see my website at: http://jennzunker.homestead.com/Main.html

NO transfer requests here. Just missing some family I thought you might be able to help. My gr-gr-gr-great grandmother Nancy Tarwater Loyd (Riffe Cemetery) was married to Henry Loyd (1801-1861) and their daughter was Martha E. Loyd Hartung (1833-1888). I cannot find neither Henry nor Martha E.'s burial. A lot of Loyds in Riffe. Riffe is also the final resting place of Martha O'Dell Porter 39985515 (another grandmother). There is a small stone next to hers with no engravings. Could that be her husband David Porter whose burial I cannot find either?
Thanks for all you do!
|Mary Allen Bliefnick||John W. Allen / Riffe Cemetery|
Hello Jenna. My name is Mary Allen Bliefnick and John W. Allen is my great grandfather. I have more info and a photo I'd like to put on his memorial. Thank you for posting the headstone photo. Would you mind allowing me to take over his page?

Thank you for posting the memorials and pictures of my Great great grandparents. James and Nancy Swarts (Swartz). I see that they were burried under the Swarts with and S at the end and I had entered much later the Corrected spelling of Swartz with the Z. also I was wandering if you were able to read his (James) birthday clearly. I have a written account of his birth and life's story from his son Isaac Swartz of Caldwell Co. Missouri. I see that his stone has been badly broken. Thank you once again for your kind work in taking the pictures and posting the memorials. I was very surprised that they were buried under the Swarts. I hope your family is doing better and things have settled down a bit for you. God Bless LaDana R. Knupp #47268008
|Lori||permission to post your photo(s) on ancestry.com?|
Is it OK to copy and post your Find-A-Grave photos on ancestry.com? If so, do you want the caption to include your name for photo credit?
Specifically, I would like to use the grave photo you posted for George A. Allison (Memorial# 17426469) and the general cemetery photo for Hardin Cemetery (which is all I have for Francis M. Allison at this point, although I am submitting a photo request today).
Thank you so much for your help in documenting cemetery info in Ray County, Missouri. The Allison/Ullerick family line I am trying to trace moved through there on their way west, and your Find-A-Grave contributions have been a huge help in my trying to research online from Houston, Texas. firstname.lastname@example.org

I am glad you are not editing currently, because I confused John and Joseph Fincher from Georgia when I made suggestions. He is the correct father for the links I made for his children, however. I am grateful you posted his memorial, because it was so helpful in tracking this family from Georgia to Oklahoma and Kansas. Barbara Tynes Claiborne
Thanks for the photo.
