Hi! I am Ann I have been doing genealogy for ages it seems. As someone once said, "You don't know where you're going till you know where you've been". Genealogy has taught me more history, more geography, more law, more photography and HOW TO USE A TOPO MAP, than school ever did. My ancestors stare at me through photo's asking me what I've done with my life and I am always humbled to look back and say "Not as much as you did with yours". Genealogy has even taught my husband how to ask for directions :-)

Ann - Downloading headstone photographs for the cemetery. For those individuals with funeral home markers with your research of birth and death dates on those individuals, and my photographs confirming that they are there, you may consider updating their memorials. Good luck, John

RE: Horton-Landreth cemetery
Oh, Ann. I had the very same reaction to the forums :-) I was hoping you could figure it out. I wish there were more information in the FAQs, etc. on things like this.

I just had a thought--what if I did a listing under Landreth Cemetery and referred them to your Horton Cemetery listing. Sort of a cross-reference.

What do you think?

Anthony Bowen Boggs
Hi Ann,
A good friend of mine found your entry from 2006 on the memorial manager's page for Anthony Bowen Boggs. She recognized the name and one of my ancestors and thought I might want to get in touch with you. So, here I am.
I am connected to Anthony Bowen Boggs and many other people in the Bowen and Boggs families. I'd love to exchange information. You can click on my name, go to my profile and either leave me a public message or send me and email.
I'd love to hear from you.

Horton Cemetery on Horton Cemetery., Road, off KY
Ann, you have some memorials in this cemetery--one is Mary Belle Horton--so I thought you might be able to handle this problem.

The problem is that this cemetery is listed as the Landreth Cemetery on the Elliott County GenWeb site and in the Kentucky Historical Society Cemetery Database.

I know an AKA can be added for this cemetery, but I don't know how to do it, and can't figure out how to use the Forum. You have so much experience with Find A Grave, I'm hoping you can, and will be able to add Landreth as an alternate name for this cemetery.

Thank you!!

RE:Thomas Marr
Thank-you so much for the obituary for Thomas Marr. I have added it to his memorial page. Find A Grave is lucky to have you as a volunteer because you take a lot of your time to help other FAGers.

I went ahead and transferred the memorial. You should keep it so you can add more details. From one Louisvillian to another. Hope you have a Merry Christmas!

Ernesto Natiello
Enjoyed seeing your memorial on Ernesto Natiello. He was my grandfather's brother, Oreste. Oreste is buried in Louisville in 1959. He had his arm severed during the fall but did not know it was gone til the doctor told him. He is buried at Cave Hill near his second wife because her child would not let him be buried with her. She is with her first husband. I never knew him but have done research and contact family that did know him. He played horn and violin but became a doorman in Louisville. He did not raise my mom. She was adopted by another family. He did raise his son born 1922 in Louisville and in Philadelphia. His store, Oreste Jr., was part of a Washington Post weather story that is also in a book about the Knickerbocker Storm published by Arcadia. Here is the link to the issue about the orchestra.
I would be interested in knowing who the relative was. Were they in show business (vaudeville) or theater owners? A benefit was held for Oreste at the Strand Theater in Louisville where many well known entertainers came to perform. I also have some of the sheet music they wrote. Oreste wrote a march after the lose of his arm. Thanks much for this memorial.

I found that James H Warner died before Dec 1900. Elizabeth is living with his son in June, 1900 and listed as a widow...
