You live as long as you are remembered. -- Russian proverb|
I spend a lot of time walking the cemeteries and getting information and photos for the memorials, but my purpose is not to have "ownership" of them, but to make as many available for family, loved ones and genealogy researchers that I can.
If I can help someone find information about their relatives by posting an old obituary it makes it worth my time.
"I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love." ~Leo Buscaglia
If I have made an entry that needs correction or if you would like it transferred, please just let me know and I'll be happy to help.
If you want to contact me with information, links or corrections for any of my memorials, please use the "Suggest A Correction" (SAC) link on the "Edit" tab of the memorial.

|C. Morgan||RE: Ervins|
I wanted to again thank you for your assistance with Francis and Melinda Ervin's memorials. I received approval today to have their memorials transferred to me. I may never have found their burial locations without you. Please let me know if you ever need a friend in Southern California. I'll be here.
Thank you for transferring Dr. Herr's memorial to me. I have him all connected to his family members now!

|Mary Yazbec||Louis Kerhliker at Calvary Cemetery, Fort Smith, AR|
Louis Kerhliker was my paternal grandfather. He is buried at Calvary Cemetery, Fort Smith, AR. When you go there to clean my great-grandparents', Franciska and Martin Coz, marker, could you also clean Louis' marker? It is not as weathered as the Coz stone, but would be nice if it was cleaned and re-photographed. Thank you again.
|Mary Yazbec||RE: Franciska Coz, Calvary Cemetery, Ft. Smith, AR|
I am a great-granddaughter to Franciska Coz who is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Ft. Smith, AR. The grave marker is a double-heart design (companion marker) and she is buried with my great-grandfather, Martin Coz. The marker is weathered and covered with lichen and I wonder if someone is available to go to the cemetery, clean the marker (if possible) and provide a new picture or tracing of the inscription. I believe the inscription on Franciska's side may be in Slovenian, but I can have it translated. I live in Illinois and cannot go to Arkansas at this time, but I am doing genealogical research for the family and would like to have this information. Thank you.--Mary Y.

You have an Emily Jane Long listed, her ID# is:
Would you or could you find out anything about her? I don't want you to go to a lot of trouble, but maybe the cemetery has information on her or
her family? I would appreciate the help.
Have a pleasant evening. Phyllis 'Long' Rhodes

|Jeanene Daniels||RE: Powers family|
Your mom and I corresponded years ago about the Powers family. I was thinking she had an old Powers bible and if so, I have lost track of the transcription she gave me. Do you know if she had such a bible? I could be getting your mom confused with another Powers researcher. I know that her father, Lonnie Weaver Powers, was a first cousin to my grandmother, Nellie Kennedy White. Sounds so close when I put it like that. Thanks.
|Nancy Davis||Davenport Memorial #37944837|
I am the great-granddaughter of the "adopted" William Morrison that you reference in the write-up on Capt. William Arthur Bolling Davenport. My sister and I are working on our ancestry project and we have no information as to why Capt. Davenport "adopted" William and his sister Minnie Lee. Their parents, Alfred P. and Susannah Morrison and a brother Albert, are on the 1870 census in Dover, Pope, AR but then they disappear and William and Minnie show up on the 1880 census in Van Buren with Capt. Davenport as "adopted". Minnie Lee was not on the 1870 census as she was born in Nov. 1874 so whatever happened to their parents would have been after Nov. 1874. Would you have any information about that? Thank you so much!
