Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a native Texan, born and reared in Northeast Texas. I have been researching my families for about thirty years, making me the family historian.
I have spent weeks, days, and hours in many states researching the courthouses and walking the cemeteries looking for my family.
Just recently I began placing memorials to my family members on findagrave; a wonderful website. The majority of my postings are my family.
I try to acquire photographs of my relatives; this makes me feel as if I actually know them.
I am a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Daughters of the Republic of Texas and genealogy is my passion.

Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood and bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so
I wonder if you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come to visit you

Allie Bailey Hogan #43723902
Emma, I have found where Allie Hogan is buried. Allie died of tuberculosis and was sent to a sanitarium at Ft. Bayard, New Mexico. The Army set up a hospital and admitted civilians as well as the Military. She died 25 Jan 1918 and is buried in Ft Bayard National Cemetery, Section B Row F Site 26. There is a memorial #332226 entered for her as Allie Hogan.

Confederate Mass Grave
Did you ever find the location of the Confederate Mass Grave in Murfreesboro?
I think you may be referring to the one moved to Evergreen Cemetery in 1867.
See these links for more info.

Hamilton Family !
Dear Emma: I want you to know that you have done a marvelous job in posting all of the Hamilton deaths on Find A Grave. I live in Oklahoma and have a dear, dear cousin in Dallas of whom I am updating her son-in-law's Hamilton ancestors. He descends from Lessie Hamilton Wiese. I think I am finding more information from your sites than anywhere else, I know he will be absolutely amazed once I am finished. My cousin I mentioned above and I are connected on our mother's side, the Hiser's. Anyway, I just thought it would be nice of me to tell you what a good job you have done with the sites, even adding so many photos. Great Job, well done! Guyetta

Hello. I would like to know if anyone from the William Thomas Tinker has taken the dna test. I have both Tinker and Crow in my ancestry. Thank you so much
