I found Find A Grave in 2009 while doing research for my family tree.
The first Cemetery I recorded was Nettle Ridge, where my Grand Father and Grand Mother were placed to rest. After recording my Grand Parents I found that not only were my Grand parents buried there, but most my family on both sides of my Grand Parents.
At first I walked the Cemetery taking pictures and writing down on paper every Bozeman and Davis in the Cemetery. A few of my Davis side were recorded by a cousin.
After I finished with my family I notice that others in the cemetery had not been recorded. I have recorded Nettle Ridge and others, posted them to help others to find their family, not that I want to own them. Nor to see how many I can manage. I was happy to do this because I know how hard it is to find some of your loved ones.
So please when you ask for transfers, please just ask nicely. No need to quote the rules in Find A Grave. I will gladly transfer your family to you.
I hope I have helped other in their research to find their loved ones memorial.
To learn the past, to help the future.
"Those who do not look upon themselves as a link connecting the past with the future, do not perform their duty to the world."
You maybe a stranger by sight.
But we are relatives at Heart.

Some better shots [but not perfect] of the panel bearing their names were e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org[photo requester]on 7th April. I think it was to him I posed the question?

Your write up for the US Coast Guard Cutter Tampa is excellent. I, like most people today, was not aware of this tragic incident that took so many lives almost a hundred years ago. Thank you for telling it so eloquently.

Thank you! I will try to get the information on findagrave corrected in the next several days.
Also, are you related to our Arkansas Senator, John Boozeman?
|Caroline Seiz Campbell||John Tyler Russell|
I am a great granddaughter of John Tyler Russell. In all I have found, there were 8 children of James Carson Russell: Mary A, Elizabeth, John Tyler, Martha A, William J, Mathew Cicero, Susan E. and Robert A. Do you have information that contradicts this?
I have struggled (late in life)to find any information about my family - either side. How are you related to John Tyler? Do you have a picture of him or his gravesite? I believe he died in MS in 1916. Is that the date you have?
Thank you for any information you might be willing to share on him. There have been several John Tyler's in my immediate family - great uncle, uncles, brother, nephew.
Thank you in advance for any information you might be willing to share.

So great to hear from you! Have done a little research but nothing like you and I used to enjoy! Have met a lot of my Reeves Cousins on my Mom's side of the family recently and that has be cool. Bonnie is slowing down, well we both are. Really sick back in January with Bronchitis and I haven't gotten over it as yet. Getting Old Anna. Brutal Winter here this year such as I can't remember in a long time. Can't take it like I used to be able. At any rate, so good to hear from you. If you like you can email me at email@example.com Take care and watch for snakes. Killed a Timber Rattler close to my door and in the last 2 years have seen more Rattlesnakes than any other time in my entire life. I definitely don't get into some of the places I used to get looking for grave stones. Chicken now! Take Care! James
