Bio Photo ==============================================

I started working on my family tree in 1978 when my mother got me involved in helping her do research. I am now retired and have more time to spend doing genealogy.
4 years ago I discovered Find-A-Grave and have been hooked ever since.

My main focus is on the families of Valentine, Virnig, Faust, Maiette, Clourate, Swain, Roots, Jolley, Powell, Fairfax, Gillam and their extended families.

I also have extended roots in the founding families from Nantucket Island including, Swain, Barnard, Macy, Starbuck and Mills.

I find old cemeteries fascinating, every old cemetery has it's own unique personality, unlike new cemeteries that are laid out in neat little rows with flat headstones.
So much family history can be found in old cemeteries.
Every grave has a story behind it and a story to tell.

Feel free to use any photos that I have posted, for non commercial use only. (Your personal family trees and are OK)

Please DO NOT repost my photos on Find-A-Grave as your own.

I was very fortunate to have many family photos passed along to me, I have posted family photos to share with extended family members that were not fortunate enough to have these photos.

Feel free to use and copy "Family Photos", I have posted them to share with extended family members.

Please use the "EDIT TAB" on each individual page when requesting changes, additions, links, or transfers.

I will gladly transfer any memorial that is not part of my family.

Please do not make duplicate memorial pages!

Duplicate pages really mess up the linking process!

Search the name you are looking for before making a page, if the page already exists request a transfer!

=================== 'HTML' ===================

Find-A-Grave pages will except 'Limited HTML' promps.
You can use standard BOLD opening and closing promps to add Bold words.
You can use standard LINK opening and closing promps to add links to your pages.
You can use standard Italics opening and closing promps to add Italics text to your pages.
To change the Size of the columns use a row of = signs in the first line of copy in the Bio section.
Example, to make larger Bio. Copy space with smaller photos.
Size and Color promps do not work...

I've created her memorial. Thanks for all your help. Seven other Erck kids to go, so there might be more in your area.

Thank you so much for the additional information about Louie and his second wife. I didn't have anything after his military service until his death. I appreciate your help, and thanks for all you do on Find a Grave.

RE: Elixman
Thank you Rick! The Meddocks are next up to get linked together. Unlike the Elixmans this family (and the Sherrills) go way, way back. I really appreciate all the effort you make.

RE: Olson/Olsen family
Do you also look up obituaries, if you do, can you find obituaries for these people, Lewis Olson (1894-1963), Larvel Olsen (1920-1995), Alvin Olson (1900-1987), and Edwina Olson (1901-1992)? Thank you, just wanna know if there was anymore people that I didn't know about.

Thank you,
Dustin Schrull
