Pvt. Melvin T. Kretzer
Thank you very much for the marker picture for Pvt. Melvin Kretzer. He was from my parents' hometown of Rushville, Missouri and I have added a picture of him to his Find A Grave memorial page.

RE: Photo for Eugene Siegel - Metaline Cemetery
Of course you can use the photo on your family tree on ancestry. I am glad I could be of help. We were on our way to Spokane so stopped off in Metaline for a break and found 3 of the 5 headstones requested by members. Good luck with your geneology searches.

Hipples in PA and Germany
Hi, Barb,
I am a Hipple through my mother, Florence Hipple Bunting. A cousin who lives in WA and I have been trying to connect our relatives to a family tree of Hipples another lady has traced back to Germany thru a Johannes Hipple who came to PA via Phila. Our direct ancestor is Frederick Hipple (Find A Grave 62150955, 1748-1785) who is mentioned as a cousin in Johannes' will. We are also not able to locate burials for a couple of the intervening generations of Hipples between Frederick and my GG GF, John A Hipple.
I would appreciate any info you may have on the early Hipples in PA. Especially anything that relates to the issues I mentioned above. I live in central PA, so I am near the places where many early Hipples are buried. I can do grave photos in this area although I don't have a fancy camera.
I am retired and only recently became involved with Find A Grave after making a memorial for my son. I'm not much of a genealogist. My interest is more in finding and visiting family graves. Also in photographing old markers near my home for others. Anyway, I saw that you manage some Hipple memorials, so I thought I'd drop you a note.
Peace be with you, SueB
