Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love family history, so of course I ended up here trying to find, memorialize, and connect my own family members, and also to help others in any way that I can. I am a disabled non-driver, so my ability to contribute is limited but heartfelt. Any memorial in my management that is a closer relative to someone other than myself will be happily transferred if requested. I am also happy to share all photos and other information I have added to these memorials.

~Dear Ancestor~

Your Tombstone stands among the rest
neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
on polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care.
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I'd exist.
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
in flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
one hundred years ago,
spreads out among the ones you left
who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved.
I wonder if you knew,
that someday I would find this spot,
and come to visit you.

RE: Stover Family
Dear Lisa

Reference: Upper Canada Land Petitions LAC S Bundle Miscellaneous 1783-1818, Petition Number 20

Thank you for your prompt reply. Guess I will have to keep searching for Margaret; daughter of Henry Staufer. The Land Record above is the only document I currently have as the basis of my search.

Stover Family
Dear Ma'am,

Not sure if can help me but I am looking for information on Margaret Staufer (Stover) who married John Scram (Schram). The were both born in New York in the 1750s.
According to his Upper Canada Land petitions she was the daughter of Henry Staufer who moved to Lower Canada. On the 1851 Canadian census she was 95 and living with her son Jacob Schram. John Schram her husband was listed as a death in the household at age 96. I have a photo of his tombstone from the old Schram Family cemetery in Pelham Township.
In trying to determine her ancestors I have only found a Johan Jacob Stover of Dutchess County New York who had 3 sons: Martinus, Willam and Valentine all of whom I believe had Upper Canada Land Petitions.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

JA Schram

Anna Moehe Memorial
Thanks so much for allowing me to copy the information off of your memorial and then deleting, I appreciate it!

Honestly I was going to just go delete mine but once I saw that I had photos in there, it was easier to copy your info into her bio then to download and then re-upload to your memorial.

That being said, if you're related to this memorial I'll be happy to transfer.

You're quite welcome.
If there are other memorials in this cemetery in which you have an interest, watch for more photos over the next few days.

RE: How are you Oliver?
Seems we get a lot of strange connections that may be relatives. Then some weird one comes up and they have much of what you have.
