|I am a late comer to the "Find a grave", and several people have been very generous in sharing their sites. I have been researching both sides of my family and both sides of my husband's family for many years, along with collateral lines. I have had the good fortune to be the recipient of old pictures, newspaper articles, and old obituaries. Very few of the obituaries were marked with the name of the newspaper they were printed in, but much of the information they contained was invaluable. Even though I have printed a number of family books the "Find a grave", site seemed a great place to insure that our ancestor's memory would be preserved. |

Frieda, I'm a Metts descendant. My grandmother was Callie Metts who married Ezekiel Rawlings. I am researching the Metts family and have seen some information you have put out. I am in the process of requesting photographs for the Metts' listed on Find-A-Grave and just wanted to share with you that there is no marker for Lucy Estill Knight and Rollie Ford Knight. I thought maybe you would want to make a note to that effect on Find-A-Grave so others won't spend time looking for a marker that isn't there. Thanks.

on your site you have the obit of Minnie barber as wife of Hiram Barber but the photograph of Minnie Barber shows she is the wife of Alonzo Barber, brother to Hiram. Is the photo of another Minnie? Thank you for any information on this

Transferred to you - enjoy!!!
|Sue Baker||House on Minor's Branch|
I live in the house on Minor's Branch where you used to live. I have been told by several people that there was a grave in the side yard. Do you remember anything like that? Do you know who it was and where the stone went?
I've transferred the 2 Dalzell's you requested. If you would like to have any more of them, just let me know. I set them up as part of the Scott County Cemetery Project and don't have a personal connection to them like you do.
|Daddy's Girl||Elizabeth Lizzie Pettit Rodgers|
I have cross referred her parents on her record as you requested. Thanks for the info!
|Donna Skinner Shuey||Lola McFarland|
Got her parents linked to her.
|Donna Skinner Shuey||May Forwood Cottrell|
I think May Cottrell's middle name is "Forwood" and not Franklin. See WW1 Registration - born Aug 16, 1890 and he clearly signs his name as "May Forwood Cottrell". His birthdate and death date mathces the Social Sec. Death index and on his tombstone.
|Genealogy Girl||Mary Raisor Wainscott|
I got her maiden name from marriage records and her parents names from a family group sheet.
