Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

Likewise as for Grandfather Michael Yankie, please replace your floral offering with a non-flashing offering. Thank you, Nancy Yankie

With all respect, would you please replace the "flashing" Flower Offering on my Grandfather's memorial which I manage as referenced above. I do not allow moving floral offerings on my memorials due the distraction they give. I feel a flashing sign is inappropriate as well as a distraction to the memorial and what is meant to honor our loved one. Thank you. Nancy Yankie

Sidle memorial Ashville Cemetery
Hello Rosemary, I transferred the memorial I had created when I photographed the cemetery. I see that the duplicate is one done by Bonnie Meyers. Bonnie has done many, manynin this area. Imam sure if you contact her, she will delete the duplicate so youbas a family tie can manage the memorial.

We need to get Grandmommy's headstone finished. There is no date of death, after all these years! This is only way I know how to contact you.

Thank you for your posting and memorial. Do you have any info on his parents by chance? I am tracing the Martin Elmer line. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Rosemary

Nice to meet you too. I received your message and was going to write to later and forgot.. Sorry

Can you clear something up for me? I've never seen the name Feyereisen before. Where did you see it? I cannot connect that name to the Farrison/Farison's. Thanks so much :)

George F. Ramsey
My name is Kurt Ramsey. George F. Ramsey is my ggg-grandfather. We have that George was born on July 4, 1855. Was wondering how you and we have different dates of birth for "George from Antrim."

He IS buried in the Grove UP cemetery in W. Middletown, PA. His son, David McCoggins is buried right next to him, (that is my line). My wife and I have been there.
