Currently working on photographing Highland Burial Park, Danville, its a biggy. When time permits, I also photograph cemeteries in Franklin County, Va, Callands, Chatham and Museville area of Pittsylvania County, and some Patrick & Henry County, Va areas.|
The one thing I take pride in is that close to 99% of all my memorials are ones that I have personally been to the gravesite & have photographed the memorial myself, there is no guess work, eliminates anyone put in the wrong cemetery, I know for a fact they are there.
I also have been asked several times by other contributors if they could use my pics on their ancestory.com and personal sites. Yes, feel free to do so. I am glad I can fill holes in some unfilled spaces.
I do ask not to use my pics on f-a-g without permission, which has been done a several times. I will say yes, but give me the courtesy of asking, thanks.

|Frances Huff Barr||James Henry and Frances Hutson Parsons Jones|
James Henry Parsons is my uncle. Family called him, "Jimmie". He married Frances Hutson. Our records showed, "Hudson". Since I saw the grave, I changed my records to Hutson. I have his birth record in my file as, b. July 17, 1899 d. December 14, 1926. The last name is spelled, Parsons, with an "s". Later married, Charlie Leon Jones. I have a 1913 picture of students from the Mt. Cross Road one-room school. Most of them are my relatives.

Yes Larry, her mother, Reona Margaret Rebecca Reid, had her out of wedlock with Alexander Robert Dillon Beavers. Rosa Ellen always used Reid as her maiden name, never Beavers. Rosa married William Riley Radford and then Erastus Blair Bandy. Later Reona legally married George McCulloch Harman, and they had Margaret Gracebelle Harman (Young) as their only child of that union. Take care-Dan Roberts

Thank you for the transfer of the memorial for my cousin Clyde Carlton. I just connected him to his parents. Your work on Find A Grave has been very helpful.
Supposed to get computer back tomorrow. Thanks for the Newman pictures. Looks like you are about done with section 8.

Larry-first let me thank you for your hard work and awesome pictures! The above memorial is for the brother of my husband's grandmother. Thought you could add a note that his middle name was Preston if you are interested. Also, the full name of his spouse is Sadie Covington Ward Walker. Thanks again!

|Ellie Thomas||Dorothy Mason|
Thank you so much for putting the headstone in for Dorothy Mason. She was my sister-in-law. Her brother Richard Thomas just passed away the 22 July 2014.
Richard was the last to pass in this family.
Thank you again.
|Reamey Winn||RE: Found another Winn|
Hi Larry, Anne is at home now and is doing much better. Someone will be staying with her for a few more days. She took a really bad fall at home on Aug 9th and spent several days in the hospital in Roanoke. She needed surgery on her left hand. We went up to Rocky Mount today to see her. I will tell her that you asked about her.
Lucy Winn Gilley is in our family. According to my records, she was Lucy Mildred Winn and was call Sis by most everyone. She was the youngest of 13 children. Only 5 are listed in Find A Grave, I suppose I should get busy and locate the grave sites of the other 8 children and list them on Find A Grave.
I hope your legs and knees are holding up OK. I know you enjoy your work in the cemeteries. We rode thru Danville today on the way back from Rocky Mount and I located Mountain View Cemetery in Danville. It was the first time I had been there. It is a beautiful and well maintained cemetery.
Take care and thanks for finding and listing Lucy.
