Bio Photo I am a Mother of five, a third order Franciscan Sister, and a retired science teacher living in Ludington, Mason County, Michigan.

I transcribe and clip old newspaper death notices from the Ludington Daily News archives and Photograph the graves at local cemeteries. I am creating a digital file of these for the local library and am adding them on this site for your personal - family use, feel free to copy my work for that purpose.
Hope it helps.

Thank you for the article on Magnus Thompson, he is my 2nd great grandfather. The Thompsons and Orrs in Lakeview are my father's direct lineage, the Caswells, Baileys, Hatfields, and Baylors are some of the others. Thanks again. Kim Orr, Farr West Utah.

Nope not related :) Someone was looking for the person who dropped the papers with their name in Ludington I couldnt find his wife memorial so I googled her and found her husbands obituary which of course led me to the right Find A Grave memorial so while I was there I decided to send the Obit :) I think Nancy already contacted you about the papers to see if they were yours or if they were Bettys..

Peter Charon
Hi Sandi - I am going through old death certs and found one for Peter Charon, age 23, who died here in Everett. His parents are Philip and Lucy, also buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Everett. I created a memorial for Peter #147966596. I noticed Kathy transf the memorials for parents, and I just wondered if you were family and would like this one for Peter?

Would be glad to transfer to you. I will link him to parents. According to his death certificate, the family has lived in Everett for 9 years, so arrived around 1896. Peter was born in Michigan. Father Philip was born in Canada. Mother Lucie LaBelle was born in Michigan.

RE: Leonard and Ina Johnson
The following eight members of the Johnson family are buried on the same plot: John Fred, Mabel, Minerva, James, Edna, Leonard, Ina, and Deeanna Killingbeck Johnson. John Fred and Mabel are beside each other and Minerva within a few feet.
I've posted additional photos which show the entire plot.

RE: Jefferson N. Davie in Custer
You are welcome. I'm not online, or doing genealogy, as much as I once was. Sorry it took so long to catch up.
