My name is Ruth (Wilson) Lowell. I was born in Inkerman,(now Baker) WV. My parents were the late Howard and Daisye (Combs) Wilson. |
I have been interested in Genealogy since May of 1980. I became very interested when a man knocked on my door one day and asked if he could go over and talk to my dad. That they had told him up at Smith's store that if anyone knew anything about the older people around here my dad would.
The man had a large blue book with Book Of Remembrance written on it. I asked him where he got it and he gave the information so I could order one. It had pages just perfect for recording your family genealogy.
I knew when my mother and dad was gone I would need it. My main list of surnames are Wilson, Coby, Combs, Baker, Hines, Saville, Wilkins, Lowell, Toler, Litton, Parker, Shanholtzer, Teets, Hunter, See and Miller.
Added August 21, 2016. Please do not add death certificates in the photos section as they are generally easy to find, take up limited photo space and may disclose more information than family members are comfortable releasing with the general public.
I do not intentionally duplicate any ones entry, so if that does happen, please let me know and I will delete it, only if theirs has a lower memorial # than mine and the date added is before mine.

|Eddie Elosser||Transfer of Goldie&Ralph Elosser|
Hi Ruth, first I want to thank you for creating and maintaining my parents on find a grave. I wanted to ask if you would transfer them to me for maintenance. I have been working on my Elosser side to update as many records as I can. In some cases I have requested to maintain them too. My number is 47752996. Thanks for your consideration.
|Shazbot||I LOVE YOUR WORK!!!|
It is accurate. It is precise. And, unlike some contributors, you have actually been on site. I'm actually to the point that I get excited when I see your name as a contributor.
So, THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Thank you. There was a request for a picture of William's headstone, so I have added that to his memorial.

Hi Ruth, I believe Abraham & Eliza had a daughter Mary Sallie (Saville) McBride. b. 1827 d. 1898 If so, she is my GG Grandmother. Do you have any info to confirm Mary as 1 of their children?
|Jennifer S. McBride||RE: Saville|
Sorry for the lateness in my my reply. In my 1st email to you I had typed the wrong find a grave #, but the last name was correct. So I back over my notes I needed to go. Well, I believe you and I may be related thru the Saville family. Abraham Saville #127147590. I need to go back over my notes again & get back to you later today. I had my notes and I understood them last night, today is another thing???
Thank you, Jennifer

|Judy||Harley Lowell's wife, Anna|
Ruth, my grandmother is a cousin of Harley Lowell on his mother (the Rogers) side. I am wondering if you have any idea if Harley's wife, Anna, remarried, or where she is buried. I would like to link the two on Find-A-Grave. Thanks, Judy
