Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in South Florida with my three children. I have family in Cuba, Spain, and Argentina. Most of my husband's family emigrated from Germany and Prussia in the mid to late 1800's and settled in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. My husband was born in Milwaukee but moved to Florida as a young boy. He always talked about wanting to go back on a family vacation to see relatives and introduce his family. However in 2007, when our children were still quite young, my husband suffered a massive, spontaneous brain bleed. He was left completely disabled and required total care for almost 8 years. John passed in August of 2014. We didn't get to make the trip to Milwaukee but I'm still working on meeting those relatives. I started digging into his family history a few years ago and fell in love with genealogy. I know this is something he always wanted and I work on it in his honor. I have "met" many interesting people along the way.I would also love to get more info on my ancestry but I haven't found much to go on. Looking for a source for Cuban records. I understand that many of the birth records were kept in the Catholic churches and were destroyed. Any help appreciated! Please feel free to use any of my photos for your family trees as needed.

Fulfilling photo request for Florence Hardman
Hi,

I just can't thank you enough for taking the time to fulfill this photo request. Clarence and Florence are my mother's uncle and aunt. I never knew my mother had any relatives until Alzheimer's struck. That's when I took her in and became very interested in my ancestry. My mother is in the late stages of her disease but the gift you have given through your picture allows me to feel that much closer to her.

Your gift of these photos has truly touched our hearts. Thank you so much and have a blessed holiday.

Therese

Thank you. The birthyear on his grave marker is 1884 and his WWI draft registration card which hopefully he completed has 1883.

RE: Raymond F. McAllister
Maggy,

That's wonderful news! The memorial number for Jessie McAllister is 140229474. Thank you for the photographs of her and Raymond, much appreciated. May I use the photos for the same people on my Ancestry.com page as well? Thanks again. r/ Keith McAllister

Raymond F. McAllister
Maggie,

Noticed you claimed this photo request (Find A Grave Memorial# 139631159). His wife is Jessie (Pinder) McAllister (1900-1976). She died in Oklahoma, but may have been buried next to Raymond (I am still trying to locate her grave). If she is buried with Raymond, it would be much appreciated for a photo of each grave. Thank you very much.

Thank you
Maggy,

Thank you very much for taking the photo of Lisa's grave. On behalf of her family and myself, I want to thank you very much for doing this. She is the baby sister of my son in law. We all live in CA so distance was a problem. After all these years, Lisa is still very much missed and this is a good way to honor her loving memory. Your work is very much appreciated.
