Currently working on photographing Highland Burial Park, Danville, its a biggy. When time permits, I also photograph cemeteries in Franklin County, Va, Callands, Chatham and Museville area of Pittsylvania County, and some Patrick & Henry County, Va areas.|
The one thing I take pride in is that close to 99% of all my memorials are ones that I have personally been to the gravesite & have photographed the memorial myself, there is no guess work, eliminates anyone put in the wrong cemetery, I know for a fact they are there.
I also have been asked several times by other contributors if they could use my pics on their ancestory.com and personal sites. Yes, feel free to do so. I am glad I can fill holes in some unfilled spaces.
I do ask not to use my pics on f-a-g without permission, which has been done a several times. I will say yes, but give me the courtesy of asking, thanks.

Hello Frank, I do not think that is the correct spouse link for Frank Turner but I did not add it and it wont let me remove it.

Thanks, Larry! I didn't know if you knew this lady or not, so that's why I sent you the message. She did not like the name "Sadie" so I'm sure she wouldn't want it associated with her memorial.

Hi there, I don't know how to do what you are asking. Can you tell me the steps? I just added my grandfather, grandmother, father and cousin to this site.

Hi Larry, thank you for the kind words and edits have been processed. Yes, I did notice that the Danville cemeteries I had canvassed were sorely lacking in coverage. I also noticed far too many fallen or broken stones in Green Hill and Leemont. Wish the city would put some effort into righting or fixing the broken/fallen markers.
Thanks for taking this picture, Larry. This was my cousin who died in a house fire. Nice stone.

What a labor of love you have accomplished not just with Higland but also Danville Memorial Gardens! I have not been as diligent as you at posting my photos. It is very time intensive / cumbersome with Find A Grave, but I do add them occasionally. I have only shot one section completely in Highland, the others I have done only as family members or for friends. I live in AK and only come down to VA twice a year for about a month each visit to take care of farm business and genealogy. I do not remember offhand the section I entirely shot in Highland. Will you be doing Floral Hills Memory Gardens? I did Schoolfield, Chatham Burial Park and Hillcrest in entirety but someone else had also done Hillcrest. Wish we could get together and Divy up so we don't duplicate work. I have also done several of the outlying churches in the county.
I believe we met a few years back in a cemetery and also at Bassett where I provided you some Riddle info.
I will be back in VA for a mo mid Mar. Perhaps we could get together and compare notes.
My email is firstname.lastname@example.org

Larry, Thank you very much for your time and posting the marker!
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Not sure how I missed it, but I have sent a request to have them merged so that the links, etc. will be preserved.
Hope you are well and your knee is giving you to much trouble.
