I started researching my family about 18 years ago and have had a wonderful time meeting new cousins and traveling from city to city looking for the elusive ancestor. My biggest hobby is searching the old cemeteries (and the new ones) looking for the burial places of my kinfolk and photographing the headstone to preserve for history. I started out with just one name and it escalated from there..I'm now researching over 150 surnames on my line and 75 surnames on my husband's line. Lots of names and lots of data to try and keep organize, but I love doing it. I'm also a volunteeer firefighter and a postal employee. Busy..Busy..Busy!!! | |
