I've always been into genealogy. My husband introduced me to geocaching a couple years ago (if you just said 'geo-what?' you should look it up at http://www.geocaching.com. it's pretty fun.) and it often leads us to cemeteries here and there. after finding this site i decided it was a good way to combine 2 things that i love. we could be out geocaching a couple hundred miles away home and come upon a cemetery and i will bring up the findagrave website on my phone to see if there are any requests there.

Others are free to use the pictures i post. Even though i took them, they do not belong to me, they belong to the family members of those who i take them of. Claiming ownership of a picture I take voluntarily of a headstone that does not physically belong to me just seems silly and selfish to me I guess. Feel free to drop me a line anyway if you use so I can be excited about being of help to others. I am currently working on cemeteries in the humboldt county area.

Some of the names in my family history i am working on are Heenan, Middleton, Bounds, Lamunion, Landers and Wideman.
