This is me and my grandfather - Claude Brownlee.(One of my favorite pictures.)|
I have always enjoyed solving mysteries and puzzles and that's what genealogy is all about. Putting the pieces in place to see the big picture. One of my regrets was not starting when my grandmother was still living. She could have given me so much information.
I am blessed to have great resources, like Find-A-Grave, to help locate those who decided to move away from the ole homeplace. Plus this is a great network of great people who is always willing to help. Thank you all!!!

You added some photo's to the memorial page for Miles Henry Bass, Sumter Co Ga., Salem Methodist Church Cemetery. I made photo's in 2009 and they are a little clearer. Will you consider removing yours.

I am so very sorry. Big mistake on my part- no excuse, must have been one of those long days. I HAVE REMOVED THE PHOTO. I am quite sure I have photos for each of the markers in that cemetery- I checked and do not have a picture of that marker.
You took photos in the Old Corinth Cemetery in Sumter County. Can you tell me where that cemetery is?

Thanks Connie. I'm hoping all of the children of Matthew & Grace Johnson Kirk can be linked. But there's some that I don't know where they are buried. William Kirk in Pickens Co., AL died 1858 may not even be a tombstone. He's one. Others like yourself have a lot of the descendants on FindaGrave already, just need linking. Ludie
