My maternal side of the family has been researched, traced back to England, and published. My paternal side has, to my knowledge, never been documented. As a matter of fact, we were always told the "records were lost". Since genealogy is apparently in my blood, I decided to embark on the journey to discover the true history of the family I really never knew too well. I am researching the following surnames in Texas, Alabama, Oklahoma, and Tennessee...so far...: Marshall, Belt, Russell, Bolt, and Bell. I hope to preserve this heritage for my two wonderful children Michael James Wellman and Ariel Raquel Wellman.|

How are you related to John Kilvington exactly ?
He figures in as one of the VERY FIRST Settlers here where i live in Kewanee illinois . He was here pre - 1836 . Wife Elizabeth was near 14 years older than him tho on census record .
|Anissa R Flournoy||Virgil L Marshall/Mabel M Marshall|
Are you of relation to Virgil Marshall who lived at 705 State St./705 Kathleen Ave. in 1947? Was Virgil a judge? My family and I lived at this address for a few years and would love to know if this is the same man.
|MarkHiatt||Charles W Marshall|
Did you know Charles W Marshall?
I'm trying to find "Whit" Marshall from Norfolk, a drummer who was a friend of mine. He was from Verdigre, Nebraska where his father Charles owned a bank. Charles (everyone called him "Whit") was literally tall, dark and handsome and I lost track of him after graduation from Norfolk Senior High in 1975.
At our first class reunion in 1985, all anyone seemed to know was that he had been in a motorcycle accident in Colorado and died.
Did you know him? Do you have any more details?

|Vicky Hilton Cunningham||Marshall Family of Winchester TN|
I am searching for the family of Jim & Alice Marshall of Winchester TN. I believe they had a daughter by the name of Ora who married Norman Wiseman. There also appears to be a connection to Hayden (Hadan or Hedden?) Marshall of Winchester TN and J.C. Marshall of Lynchburg, TN. If you are related to any of these people, specifically Ora Marshall Wisemen, please email me. I have some wonderful old postcards I will be happy to share with you.
|Dee Marshall||Lela Leavengood|
I am searching for information regarding Lela Leavengood's parents. Any information would be helpful as I have not been able to find any records. Lela Leavengood was my husband's great grandmother.
I believe Lela Leavengood was married to a Cook & had a child named Vera. (However, Vera was mentioned in the 1900 census as Vera Marshall). Lela then married Clarence Marshall. Clarence and Lela had a child, Robert L. Marshall DOB unknown. His grave stone says 09/14/1899, but he is not found in the 1900 census & in 1910 he is listed as being 8 years old. Lela died in 1905.
Clarence Marshall then remarried and they had a daughter named Mabel Marshall.
