Bio and Links
Bio Photo I applaud everyone for their additions to Find A Grave. I have found a lot of burials on this site for family members.

Please do not hesitate to leave me a message if you have something NICE to say about anyone. If you want to be unkind, please do not leave a message. I will delete it.
(quote above copied from DaveV)

Also, if I have added a photo you would like to have a copy of, feel free to copy from the memorial page. That is the reason I put it there.

The memorials I have added have been made to assist those who do genealogy. They are not intended to hurt or upset anyone. If one has been posted that you prefer does not appear, just kindly contact me and it will be removed immediately upon request. (love this quote from T M & M L)

If you find a memorial I have made and I have placed it in the wrong cemetery location, DO NOT send me a nasty email. I will ignore it! I try to place them correctly and if the paper says MEMORIAL SERVICE, this usually indicates a cremation. The family may later place a marker in the Family Cemetery plot. If you see one of these for my memorial, I will correct it. No need for hateful comments telling me not to add memorials if I don't know the burial place.

I am also finding that memorials are added with 'burial unknown' and AFTER I add my memorial, the other gets corrected, thus making mine look like a duplicate. I have been deleting my memorials but have been told that FAG can look and see which one has been placed correctly the longest and keep THAT memorial. I may not be deleting any more. JS!

Remember me
Esther Rutledge
As I stated in the earlier edit request, a family member requested that the name of Cox be shown as the middle name to allow for connection to the son. I will continue to allow that request.
Thanks -- Don

Salters Cemetary
I would love to explore your connection to Salters Cemetery in Salters, SC. There are three generations of my Moseley kin buries there.

RE: Edits
Sorry for your losses, Susan! I saw where you had added some memorials, but updates weren't processed. Hang it there and thank you!

Vernelia Leysath Livingston
Thanks, so much, for linking Vernelia to her family. I so appreciate it. I've been trying to get all the siblings with the parents. Unfortunately, a couple of the older ones aren't on findagrave yet due to family gravesides. I'm tempted to travel to Alabama and try to track them down.

I think the Orangeburg branch of my family is so interesting. I have to visit Orangeburg some day.

Thanks for your posts. I wondered about this man's dod. You have 1945. The 1940 census lists Jessie, his wife, as an Orangeburg widow. Comment?

Are you receiving my edits via the tabs? Do you think anything is not working with the edit tab system for you? I noticed your profile and was surprised that no one is accepting your edits. Thanks, as always,

Abner, NOT Albert
Regarding Find A Grave Memorial# 115846059

The 1900 census notwithstanding, this man's name was ABNER D. Rose, not Albert D. Rose. You will find him correctly as head of household in the 1880 Fairfield census, as well as the 1860 Fairfield census of his father [W. A. Rose there] -- and the 1870 of the father [William Rose there].

That father's full name was William Amos Rose. He took the rest of the family to Tipton Co. TN at some point after 1870, but beforfe 1880, leaving his son behind in Fairfield. The father's grave is Find A Grave Memorial# 77172367. --Carl

I see Flossie is linked to Willie Ervin Mitchum as a spouse.

Thomas D Axson
I am wondering if there is a headstone .

From the dates you have it looks like Thomas D Axson died 5 years before his son was born ???

If he has a headstone please post a picture of his and his sons.
