Please DO NOT post family history in the memorial notes and flower section. That is not the purpose of that feature. If you have additional information, please use the edit tab to contact me. |
Any obituaries that are posted on my memorials will not have the names of any living relatives. Also, I try to not include living spouses when photographing headstones.
To quote local genealogist Joan Griffis,
"Personal information concerning living individuals should not be published or shared on the internet without the permission of those individuals."
I choose to just omit the names.
Most of the names I have added are family, either to myself or my spouse, and would like to keep those. I have added various other memorials, such as family friends, etc, so if I have a memorial that you would like transferred, it doesn't hurt to ask! Others have been generous to me and I enjoy passing that generosity on to others.

|Natalie Dewey Stubblefield||Phot of Sylvia Lindley stone|
Thank you so much for the photo of Sylvia Lindley's stone. She was my grandfather's sister and we didn't even know about her until a few years ago.
Do I have your permission to share this photo on my Ancestry.com tree?
|Teresa Essex||RE: Dillman|
Happy to do it
|Jayne Dunn||Alvin Trobaugh|
Apparently we have been in contact before. My grandfather was Alva E. Mix whose 1/2 sister, Mayme, married Alvin Trobaugh. Someone has the wrong info on Alvin on Ancestry.com and I am trying to determine, like you, where Alvin is buried. My grandfather kept a loosely called diary in which he made 2 entries as to when Alvin died and a sketch of the plot in Cedar Hill Cemetery where he says Al Trobaugh is buried. I can send you copies of these pages is you want to give me your e-mail address. This is the only proof I have of Alvin's burial. I've been to Cedar Hill Cemetery many many times but don't recall seeing the graves. Jayne firstname.lastname@example.org
To your attention.
