V W Thompson
Wondering if you can help me. You have a memorial for V W Thompson 82718597 buried in the Thompson Cemetery in Bee Lick. He is the son of James Thompson and Sally (Sarah) Wilson. Do you know anything about her? I can't figure out who her parents are nor where Sarah(Sally) and James are buried. I do know that Sally was first married to David Stringer who died in 1840. Harriet and David are from that marriage and are half siblings to the children by James Thompson. Thanks

Victory cemetery
In reference to photo request of Ed Terrell, in Victory Cemetery, Collinsville, Ok. I noticed a marker for E M Terrill, but I see photo's have already been added. Is that one and the same?

RE: Mary Lucas
Was she related to Charles JP Lucas who is buried in the same row as Mary...but not next to where she is located? He has a memorial already.

Father's name: Millard Shelton Burns, Mother's maiden name: Anna Heather. DOD: 18 Nov 1952. Age: 64 y 7 mos 23 days

Chief Red Bird
I have done research on the Sizemore Families for almost eighteen years. Do you have proof of no naming ceremony? Do you Have record of The murdered Red Bird's Children. I have found no connection to the Brock families that Ken Tankersley came up with.. My research goes as far as Russell Ruck Sizemore. I have no proof beyond that point. Every member of the Sizemore family I come from believe that A Chief Red Bird was an ancestor. I have no idea and no proof that this is true. I am not in a position to tell them they are wrong. My father showed me where Russell Sizemore was buried . next to his grandfather and grandmother. I have no reason to believe that he was not telling me the truth.

RE: Russell Sizemore
Russell's grave is marked with a stone. He is buried next to Sarah Sally Couch Sizemore. There are small children buried next too and between Sarah and Jackson. Nancy Metcalf Sizemore is buried on the other side of Jackson facing in the opposite direction . Russell is believed to have claimed Red Bird as his father . I have never found any proof or documentation. Nancy Metcalf Sizemore was Russell's second wife. Red Bird and Willie were killed before Russell Ruck was born so the Red Bird that Russell claimed was his father would have been either a son or nephew of the older Red Bird that was murdered.Cherokee tradition says there is a naming ceremony to name the Chief after a chief passes away My father was born and raised on Bull creek. At the bottom of the mountain below the John North Cemetery . Jackson and Sarah are my Great Grandparents.

james/john hillock buried at mt. carmel
This is the same person, his son James is buried in Carlisle Cemetery. Rachel, James Hillock's first wife, is buried with his parents in Mt.Carmel. This is my family, from what I hear the cemetery has been destroyed? Wish I could see what the place looked like.

Barnes & Hawkins
I should specify that the message I left on 10 Dec 1014 was for the two obituaries that you posted on the memorials of William Barnes & Fanny Hawkins.
