Bio and Links
Bio Photo Born 23 July 1928 on a Fishing Creek farm near Waynesburg, KY. Parents were Henry Reynolds and Gertrude Thompson. Retired from the Department of Defense in 1986 and in 1987 because of questions from my son decided to find from whence we came. Genealogy has been very rewarding. Hope others can be helped through my research posted on Find A Grave. Picture taken in 1995 exiting Gilmore-Vaught Cemetery in Pulaski Co. KY after finding the tombstone of my Great Great Grandmother Elizabeth Vaught Mercer.

Sarah Reynolds
Lyman, It is I who owes you a great debt of thanks. Before I found your post here on Find a Grave and later your wonderful book,I had very little to go on . When I found the abstracted Obituary for her ,I actually cried.
I also owe Judy S. a big thank you for posting the headstone photo. It leaves no doubt that it is our Sarah. While ,It is only a guess, I suspect that they may have left Ohio to escape the Tuberculosis epidemic , that it might have been the cause of her early demise, as well as of Jason Green Reynolds . I have maternal ancestors who died of Tuberculosis in that area ,at that same time. Now, whatever happened to Marcus Warman is still a mystery. Sincerely ,Linda Warman Sims

Cora Singleton Sanders
I have a memorial for Cora Singleton that was married to Milton Sanders. Do you know if she was the d/o William Riley Singleton & Susie Caldwell?
Also, Susan Alice Caldwell married Alvin J. Newport 19 Dec 1878 and she was Susie A. Newport when she married Wm. R. Singleton. I've searched the newspapers and I can't find anything on Alvin Newport. Do you know what happened to him? I only found two references to Susie Alice Newport in the newspapers.

RE: Henry Reynolds
Sarah Reynolds and Marcus L.Warman are my great grandparents.Their son Walter , is my grandfather. Walt and Wilbert moved back to Ohio by abt 1911. By the 1920 census Their son Roy lee is living with his sister Blanche, she was married to a man named P.H. Bacon. My brother, (now in his seventies) told me that our grandfather said that Marcus was killed by a man and one of the other sons killed that man. I believe this would have been after Sarah and child Sam Everette Passed away. I just wish I knew what happened to them in Texas. There is a grave of Samuel Warman in Ft. Bend, Tx at Morton Cem. It is on billiongraves.com. Samuel must have died right after the 1910 census. Thank you so much for helping me with this. If you have any other information about Sarah and Marcus ,I would really appreciate it.I Sincere thanks for answering my question.
