RE: Margaret Ann
I have a question for you...is there a cemetery called...
Wheat Ridge Cemetery, Lincoln County, Washington, USA
now the reason I ask this is the picture of the head stone for William E. Stauffer in 106178063 is different than the one in 15458813

now comes the question...was the marker changed at some point or were the bodies moved to annother cemetery?

RE: UPDATE - John W Buckingham
Does it have 12 MO CAV on it? If so, then that is his marker. Hope it is as I honor service men of all wars as much as I can. Take care.

RE: John W Buckingham
Hi, I don't know for sure...but I found this. If any of this information is on the marker, then I would assume it is him.

Name: John W Buckingham
Birth Date: abt 1834
Age: 28
Enlistment Date: 1862
Military Unit: Third Cavalry, O-Y AND Third State Militia, Cavalry AND Third State Militia, Cavalry (2d Organization), A-D

If none of that info is on it, let me know what is and I'll see if I can find his military info on Ancestry.

Thanks for the inquiry.

Thanks again, John, for taking this photograph. Looks like you might have had to do some "digging" to get it visible. I appreciate the efforts.

Best,

Ann

Thanks very much, John for taking this photo. From the looks of it, you have lovely sunshine out there. Nice to see sun somewhere!!

Best,

Ann in cold, dreary, rainy (with tons of snow on the ground and more predicted) Minnesota.
