|Frederick Porter||RE: Bowne Family Poughkeepsie|
While Poughkeepsie Rural lists 19000+ names, I believe that is only a fraction of the burials there. An interesting note, James Bowne, whose monument you photographed, was instrumental in the establishment of the cemetery, and the removal to PR of the burials in the many small cemeteries scattered around town.
Have a great day,
|Frederick Porter||Bowne Family Poughkeepsie|
Thanks so much for the photographs from Poughkeepsie Rural! Are you connected to these folks?

|Jeanne Sutherland||Homer O Wildey|
It is a small world but I have Rachel Wildey in my family tree and have many death notices for Wildeys. Homer died at his home on Hawkes Avenue in Ossining. Services were held at the Red Hook Lutheran Church. Obit printed in Ossining's Sentinel on March 18 and 19, 1931.
I will be happy to list the photo credit- again thanks!
