What a wonderful web site to find family and also to assist others in finding their family!

I would appreciate any corrections/updates be sent to me through the Edit tab (Suggest a Correction) on the memorial. If you would like anyone of your relatives transferred to you please just let me know and I will be more than happy to transfer them to you as long as I am not related!! But, please don't ask me for an out of guideline transfer if you do not transfer out of guidelines. And, please do not ask for any transfers if you have nothing to add to the memorial and only want family links done.

Please do not post any of my photos that I've added to Find a Grave to any other web site without first asking me for permission.

Some of the families I am researching on my side of the family: Rist, Neff, Gregson, Dehn, Dixon, Reheis, Fauss, Schlemmer, Herold, Roth, Ebert, Wachtel, Proctor & Staufenbiel (mostly from Monroe & St. Clair Counties in IL).

Some of the families I'm researching on my husband's side of the family: Deason, Ray, Thompson, Griggs, Huckaba, Burton & Knox (mostly from Wayne & Lawrence Counties in TN & Texas).

RE: Herbert Wiskamp

Thank you, It looks like all of Herberts family, including his parents, were buried in the Smithton City Cemetery except for Clarence who just died and he is to be buried in the Valhalla Garden Cemetery.

RE: Your photo request for Abbott Burns
Thank you so much! Sorry this took so long for me to acknowledge. I'm just getting back into my genealogy after spending time helping my husband fight lymphoma. I'm still not sure if this is the right Abbott Burns, but this will definitely help me figure it out! Thanks again!

RE: Transfers!!!
I've been trying to do the old requests at the small cemeteries in Randolph and Monroe County. Still have a ways to go. Glad you're open to all of the transfers-I enjoy going to the cemeteries but don't want to manage memorials.

Head stone at Saint John the Baptist
You don't know how long I have been searching for this couples death information. Do you have any information about where they died? Do you have a picture of their headstone?
Thank you so much,

Thelma Straub
Hi Peggy,

I'd like it if you would transfer Thelma M Naumann Straub's memorial to me. I have more to add than just links for her.

RE: SAC for Jacob Mosbacher

I received this obit in a bunch of items clipped from News Papers and Church items. Jacob was my Great Grandmothers cousin. He died in 1957, my Great Grandmother died in 1947, don't believe they thought about keeping the name of the newspapers when they were clipping the obit. I never met Jacob, but I did know my Great Grandmother, whose husband was the Sexton at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Belleville for over 40 years, I don't remember seeing many, if any in the cemetery records either. Even Funeral Directors just stapled the obit to their copy of the Funeral Record (maybe), they didn't always put the name of the newspaper, it was a catch as catch can system.

RE: SAC for Jacob Mosbacher

You are correct about his place of Birth, however Findagrave doesn't have a "Near Hecker" option. I then need to use the "Hecker". I wish they would provide these sort of data abilities, especially useful when the person lived outside the city limits and was born or died at the family home, i.e. a farmer.

As to where I got his place of death as being Waterloo it is stated in his Obit as Monroe County Nursing Home in Waterloo.

I'll take another look at the entry to make sure I entered his Obit.

Jerry Fults
Hello Peggy. Thank you for posting the info about Jerry. He was my Father in law. He was a very sweet man.
I have been doing research since 1998 after my Grandpa past away.
I haven't done research in years but I have decided to start doing it again. It started getting to me when it came time to add death dates so I had to stop for awhile. I'm ready to jump back into it. It's my passion in life to find and share information and pictures.
I am glad that I found your page. May I ask how are you related to the Fults Family?
I have your email address from your page. I'll get my Family Tree books I have put together over the years and send info to you just let me know what you need. I have a lot of pictures.

RE: Ray Family Memorials
HI Peggy,
Will you please share with me how your husband descends from Hezekiah Ray? I will gladly mail everything I have on his line to you, if you would like. I may have info that you don't. And every little bit helps.
