Bio Photo I am the proud daughter of Andrew Jackson Fry (son of Jesse and Lucinda (Nelson) Fry) and Sarah Irene (Passmore) Fry (daughter of Fulton and Anna "Annie" (Richards) Passmore.
Most of my Dad's family lived in WV, VA, KY, and OH and as far as I know my Mom's family lived in GA where Mom & Dad met and married while my Dad was stationed in GA.
I have Shawnee blood from my Dad's side of the family going back to Chief Cornstalk and as far as being told as a child Cherokee from my Mom's side of the family.

Paul James Eller Memorial# 104555434
When you get in to researching family history, you find all kinds of unusual things. Paul James Eller on his certificate of death is name is James Paul Eller. He died of second and third degree burns in a fire which destroyed his home.

McCLOUD, Ellen (Maynard) Mem # 106407753
Hello Cousin Mary!

We haven't "talked" for a bit", reason being my computer is very, very old and is almost "unworkable" - it takes me hours just to do what I should be able to do in a few minutes. The rain storm didn't hit here where we live but other areas of West Virginia were destroyed - really bad - you've probably seen it on the news - hoping all of you are o.k.

We've had sadness in our family during the past 3 weeks - Uncle Edgar's son, Edgar Ray, was killed in an auto accident, and a few days later his Mom, who had been in very poor health for the past year, passed - We had her funeral yesterday - Both are now sleeping at Silas D. Copley Cemetery.

Have a favor to ask of you - Would you mind transferring Ellen's memorial to me as I have some additional information to add to her memorial and I could do that and then, if you wish, transfer it back to you.

Please keep all of us in your prayers - losing my cousin (he was in ICU with Uncle Edgar when I woke up) has caused me to feel great sadness, Aunt Jane as well - she was a wonderful aunt to all her nieces and nephews.

Love & Blessings to all of you .. Della

Mary Parsons - Osburn Walter Raleigh Cemetery
Dear Mary -- I saw you left flowers on the memorial page for Mary Parsons. Mary was married to my first cousin twice removed William S. Parsons, his mother-in-law was Sarah Elizabeth (Estep) Parsons, her father-in-law was Thomas J. Parsons. Do you have any information or pictures of the Parsons family or Shadrach "Shade" Estep and Martha Elkins Estep. The Estep's are supposed to be buried somewhere on Little Lynn. Or do you know of anyone who may have this information? Also, more information on Mary would be appreciated!

I am wondering since you made a memorial on her husband, Glenn, is she buried next to him? I can't find a death date on ancestry. If she is there, would you please make a memorial on her? thank you.

A Jocelyn Brabham Barrett contacted me said they have a copy of her death record and that it shows 1928. I asked if they would send me a copy because everything online shows 1929. If they send me a copy I will send it to you or upload it to her page.

Harvey Lee Holder 1906-1966
The reference to his marriage to Etta Mae Davis refers to another "Harvey Lee Holder" ... that family lived in Surry County, NC. You have a daughter listed, Helen Francis Holder Thomas. Her OBIT gives names of all her brothers and sisters and research gives the birth years of those children. Much too old to be fathered by this man. I find a record of this Harvey Holder's marriage in 1933 (Harnett county, NC) to Mollie Mae Taylor. They are on the census of 1940 as a couple. On 1930 census he is living at home with father, John Lee Holder and step-mother, Lillian.

Cherokee line
Hello, I am also told I have Cherokee blood from my mother's family line. Some of the names would be Teague, Coggins or smith.
Do you by chance know how you are connected to the Cherokee?
