Bio and Links
Bio Photo Genealogy is one of my hobbies, the others being Jane Austen, movies, website design, and my job.

And, of course, I love visiting cemeteries and photographing headstones for people. There are some cool, out-of-the-way country cemeteries here in Mississippi, so it's sort of a road trip and a scavenger hunt rolled into one, and you can't beat the feeling of helping people!

If you are the friend or relative of anyone on a record I've added, I will be glad to transfer the admin/ownership over to you, so just let me know.

The link on my profile will take you to the genealogy site I maintain for my family.

In memory of my sister, Emma Louise Baldwin King (1988-2011).

Leonard Segan Wray III tombstone photo
Thank you so much for taking the photo in Curtis Chapel Cemetery and adding it to Leonard Wray's Memorial Page . It adds a lot to the page , not just the info , but also it is a very pretty monument. The children of the Wray family and my family were raised attending and joining Curtis Chapel United Methodist Church which was located amidst the cemetery .( Actually I was chair of the church board the year the church closed , and the members installed a monument in memorial to the church in the cemetery then . ) Leonard and his siblings were a few years younger than my brother and I , but in our little church and community we considered them friends . We had a great deal of respect for his parents Martha and Leonard Wray . So it is very special to me and will be to the family also that the picture was added .

J. Walton Williams, Sr.
Thank you for taking the photograph of J. Walton Williams, Sr., his daughter Margaret and wife, Martha Elzena Ellis Williams's gravestone in Odd Follows Cemetery in Starkville, Mississippi.

DeeDee, it is thanks to individuals like you; who volunteer their time to bring ancestors closer together, even if it is only through a photograph of their final resting place. This will help future generations in our family to know a little more about their ancestor. ~ with appreciation, George Gaston

Could you transfer my Mom to me? Thank you for adding her to this website! I was surprised to see her listed here. A lot of my family is buried in that cemetery going back several generations. My mother, grandfather, and great-grandparents, just to name a few. Thanks again for what you do!
