Bio and Links
Bio Photo A Durham, North Carolina native, I've lived in Salt Lake City, Utah since 1974. I've found the Find A Grave web site helpful in researching my family history - mainly 18th Century Scot-Irish immigrants through Pennsylvania down the Great Wagon Road to Virginia and North Carolina.

I appreciate the work done by others and I'm happy to return the favor by adding content as time permits.

Current work includes cemeteries in Salt Lake County, Utah, Alamance, Caswell, Chatham, Durham, Forsythe, Guilford, Orange, Rockingham and Surry Counties in North Carolina, and Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

My contributions are intended to support you. If you have additional information you would like added to a memorial, I'll be happy to make the update for you. If the memorial is for one of your family members, I would be pleased to make the transfer to your FindAGrave membership.

You are welcome to use photos, but please, credit the photo to me.

In real life, I'm a career airline employee and have enjoyed working with Delta for the past 23 years.

Paul Hemingway
Morris Elliott Hemingway
Please note that the headstone name is incorrect for my Uncle Elliott. Per his birth certificate and the family bible his name was Maurice (not Morris). His father (English) mis-pronounced his name as Morris, & although he went by Elliott, he also said his name as Morris & spelled it that way. Upon his death, his wife's sister (Joyce) ordered the headstone which also incorrectly engraved the name Morris. This incorrect headstone is still sitting at the Wasatch Memorial Cemetery in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Chesnut/Behunin Descendant
Thank you for this Transfer. This is a side of my family no body did anything with, until I tracked them down. Oddly enough 2 of her sisters are Feet away from my mom and dad. I know that was not planned. How many times I walked by and read stones and had no idea.
You Found Sophie for me. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH.

Thank you!
Just a note of thanks for your hard work, and for taking a picture of my sweet grandma's grave marker. Now I can visit her anytime!
