Bio Photo I applaud everyone for their additions to Find A Grave. I have found a lot of burials on this site for family members.

Please do not hesitate to leave me a message if you have something NICE to say about anyone. If you want to be unkind, please do not leave a message. I will delete it.

Also, if I have added a photo you would like to have a copy of, feel free to copy from the memorial page. That is the reason I put it there.

I try to get to my EDITs as soon as I can and usually approve them all. However, in checking the edits I have suggested, there have been none made. Today (July 29, 2014) there are 109 edits I have sent and NONE have been accepted yet. Wonder what the problem is! I approve yours so show me the same kindness! THANKS!

June 2014, I am now working on my family in Texas. WOW, so thankful for Find A Grave. I can actually see their gravestones.

James Monroe Fallaw
You list James' mother incorrectly on Memorial# 102190527. Louis Butler Fallaw was married twice. His first wife was "Victoria J. Corder". His second wife was "Abby Spence". you are listing both wives' names as Victoria's.

RE: Henry Clay Gillmore #120447552
Just so you know, the obits of several of the people at Old Gilmore cemetery say they were buried at Mill Creek. I'm thinking they were moved. Some of the headstones are too modern to be original.

Hi! Curious whether you actually found a marker at the UMC Mill Creek Cemetery? Many members of the family were moved/and or buried at what is called the "Old Gilmore Cemetery" at the corner of Caughman and Trailwood Lane.....not far away. I found a small marker there with the inscription "H.C. Gilmore" and no dates. I'm thinking your man may have been moved as some of the others were. If you did find a marker at Mill Creek, then the marker at Old Gilmore is someone else. I have added a listing for "H.C." but hate duplicating...perhaps we need to merge them.....please let me know....

The lady that left the message below mine? Get copies of ALL the photos, known or not. They can be identified-it's a little work but it's fun. You will need to know who collected the photos to begin with-who they came from. Email me if you need help.

RE: Bull Swamp Baptist
That information should be in the notes for the cemetery.

Maria Williams Murrah
Hi again Susan
This is Marie Williams Murrah. I talked with my second cousin Diane Davis Dukes. Seems she inherited all of my ggrandmother Viola Spires and ggranfather John William Davis pictures. (most she does not know who they are of) Grandma Vidy kept a lot of pictures, she is the one who kept my grandfather Henry G. Williams Spanish American War papers. Am thinking of going over to visit and copying all of it as she said I could. She told me I was right about John William Davis not having a jr. That needs to be cleared up. John W. Davis son of William paul Davis and Agnes Sturkie, married to Viola "Vidy" Spires dau. of Nathan J. Spires and Mandy Gleaton had a total of 9 children. Only 5 lived. Only one of the twins lived and that was my great uncle Hollier (Hollie) Davis. J. Labruce Ward Davis, Edna Eula (Eulie) Davis, Edgar aka Edcar Davis, and Pauline Davis. The other babies that died were never named. There was NO Junior. My cousin is older than me, and Uncle Bruce knew ALL our family history. She has books full of death notices, births, and writeups in the paper. Am thinking maybe you would like to go with me to meet my cousin? She used to babysit me and we were very close until she got married. She and cousin Billy were at my dads funeral. Guess what! I found my cousin Tommy Ray Williams (now Shull) who was adopted out almost forty years ago.

Bull Swamp Baptist
Are there two of them? One in North and one in Orangeburg? Is one traditionally African-American?
