Pre-script -- My account has more than 5000 memorials, about 500 or 600 of these are family members for my husband and myself. I would be more than happy to transfer outside the "guidelines". Just ask. Any relation or friend situation. Most of the time, the transfer will be completed. I am not a selfish person. Some findagrave folks treat memorials like baseball cards and horde them. For what end?! I say --- Guidelines, Schmidelines..... There would be less problems and bad feelings all around if there were more generosity. But if there were no guidelines, some people would never even learn how to do a transfer...... I put information on this site in the hopes that someone someday asks for a transfer of a great grand aunt or uncle or cousin. This just means that people are looking....Happy to help!|
My first stop in a cemetery is any photo requests, then it is the small white markers with the little lambs; the ones that are slowly giving in to the elements. Next, Veterans from any war, especially the Civil War, they seem to be forgotten about. This summer has been spent on many a gravel road with map in hand looking for the small out of the way cemeteries in this area. Sometimes hubby comes along.
More than happy to transfer any family, except of course, my relatives. Gladly will make any corrections, additions or relationship links. The great thing about findagrave is so many helpful, friendly people adding pieces to the genealogy puzzle.

Hi again, I went to take a photo of Virginia's stone and there was an empty space alongside her husband. That's why I didn't see it, because it wasn't there. I posted a photo of the space on her memorial. She was not behind his stone either or to the other sides. She's not listed in the Nationwide Gravesite Locator either. Good luck finding out where she was buried.

You're very welcome-it was my honor. I'm sorry that after double-checking the memorial I seemed to have overlooked his wife's marker next to his. I will be sure to take that photo as soon as I get back to the cemetery at the right time of day. I don't know what happened and why I didn't see it. That hardly ever happens at least and I can blame it on either the hot weather or a senior moment.

Thanks so much for your kindness in allowing me to use the grave marker photo of Pvt Laubach in my "Gold Star Families" report. You said... it was just a photo of a photo, but without your help I would have no record of what he looked like and that make the report more real.

I am currently working on revised edition of a Melrose (MN) Area "Gold Star Family" report for next Memorial Day. I would like to use the photograph of Joseph Frank Laubach (Find A Grave#130217030) on his grave marker at Saint Michael Catholic Cemetery in Spring Hill.
Just let me know if this is okay with you and how you would prefer the citation to read.

Thank you so very much for obtaining and posting the tombstone photo of Clifford Billingsley for me. I greatly appreciate your findagrave volunteer efforts.
Great seeing your name again. I love your requests and it's been awhile.
You'll see that I added two pictures of James Gray's Military Headstone.
I hope you like them and I trust they're what you're hoping for.
James is buried along side of his wife, Francis, and his son, James L Gray.
As always, I have added pictures to both of their Memorial Pages included a couple of panoramic shots.
And of course, as always, thanks for the request and I hope you enjoy all of the pictures.
