My name is Laurel. I'm married and live in Central Texas. I just recently became involved in several groups on Facebook, Historic Texas Cemeteries and Cemetery Explorers. And also Find A Grave. I just enjoy visiting cemeteries, especially older cemeteries. I find a peace and tranquility there; I also find the history very interesting. I enjoy being able to find graves for other people, the joy that it brings to them. I personally am researching the Ioor/Joor family history after discovering three brothers buried at an old cemetery near my home. I am related to the Jones, Ritchey, Edge and Brymer families in Williamson County and Lee County. I also have my father's family at Pilot Grove Cemetery (Clark, Parker) and Hillcrest Cemetery (Allen) in Bell County. I have not added very many memorials, but I will consider transferring a Memorial to direct family. I hope that I can help you if you need a picture of a certain grave in my area. I'll do my best. Also, I typically add at least three photos to a memorial; if a member needs me to delete some of my photos, just message me and I will be happy to work with you.|

|Kevin Mackey||RE: Amanda Light|
Her obit was found in the Grace Armantrout Museum (George West, Texas) and it confirms some of the details you provided. She is indeed a Parker. It shows the date of death is June 28 where a "Death Record" shows her death to be June 1, 1977.
I will post your information to her memorial with the other information I have found as well.
|Kevin Mackey||Amanda E. Light as per you message to me|
You sent ... "Information concerning Amanda Light from FamilySearch and FindAGrave. Also, Amanda Parker Light was the sister of Winston Carmen Parker, who was my father's stepfather."
Nothing is shown to me as to what FamilySearch shows and Find-A-Grave information is not in the message either so of no usable information for me. The Find-A-Grave post is mine so I do know what it says.
Your information would make "Parker" the maiden name of Amanda E. Light. There is another "Amanda E." buried at Oakville and she does indeed have Parker for a maiden name. Her name is ...
Ussery, Amanda Eunice Parker 57936527
b. Dec. 9, 1842 d. Jul. 9, 1919
I wonder if someone is not confusing the two? It seems odd that there would be two Amanda E. Parkers buried in Oakville Cemetery. Who do you show as parents of Amanda E. (Parker) Light?
|Linda Beeman Chick||Sinda Booze is my great grandmother|
I saw your post here and her name is Martha Lucinda Upton. She married James Alta Culp and they had 3 boys and 1 girl and that 1 girl is my grandmother on my father's side. They called her Sinda and her last marriage was to a man last name Booze. You let me know what you need and I can get it to you. You may text me at 209-244-1729 if you like or find me on facebook. right now I am sharing some of her pictures on facebook and I also have a picture, not a good one though, of her mother, my great great grandmother last name Upton. I hope that this has helped you.

|Carolyn Dossey||RE: Dossey family|
Sorry, I know there is no page for Lavina as to my knowledge no one knows where or exactly when she died. In 1850 the family is in Hopkins County and sometime in the 1850's a move was made to Limestone County and records of her no longer appear. I have never made a memorial page for something like this. As to Snap Bean's name according to family tradition they did not name him right away, just called him Babe (1880 census) and one day he asked why he didn't have a name like the other children, unfortunately, they were snapping beans at the time. He was known as Snap or S B. I recently sent a Dossey family genealogy book to the Genealogy Society at Gatesville with the hopes that it would be placed in the library there.

Information concerning Mary Dickson Reavis from FamilySearch.
I couldn't find any records but I did find the tree that lists her on the website. There is not a source for the death location. If you notice the death year is listed as 1904 but the burial year is listed as 1903. I do see that she was born in Missouri and that her middle name is Isabella (you requested Isabell). I'm not sure what the L stands for that is on her headstone. I will add the birth location and middle name. When a source can be located for her death location I would be more then happy to add it. But with her daughter passing away in OK and being buried in KY you just never know where someone passed away with out a source. Mrs. Reavis was in CA in 1900.
