My name is Laurel. I'm married and live in Central Texas. I just recently became involved in several groups on Facebook, Historic Texas Cemeteries and Cemetery Explorers. And also Find A Grave. I just enjoy visiting cemeteries, especially older cemeteries. I find a peace and tranquility there; I also find the history very interesting. I enjoy being able to find graves for other people, the joy that it brings to them. I personally am researching the Ioor/Joor family history after discovering three brothers buried at an old cemetery near my home. I am related to the Jones, Ritchey, Edge and Brymer families in Williamson County and Lee County. I also have my father's family at Pilot Grove Cemetery (Clark, Parker) and Hillcrest Cemetery (Allen) in Bell County. I have not added very many memorials, but I will consider transferring a Memorial to direct family. I hope that I can help you if you need a picture of a certain grave in my area. I'll do my best. Also, I typically add at least three photos to a memorial; if a member needs me to delete some of my photos, just message me and I will be happy to work with you.|

|Debbie Smith Shaffer||RE: Sarah Alice Weed Smith|
First, I am not related to Sarah Weed Smith because she was married to my 3rd great-uncle, James Early Smith. But I do know that Sarah was the daughter of Lucinda and Alexander Weed as you have described. I just spent a bit of time looking up info in the census. Both the 1900 and 1910 census state that Lucinda was the mother to 13 children. The 1900 census says all but 5 have died, the 1910 census says all but 4 have died. I only come up with the names of 7 of them. And, I have no idea where they might be buried. The Weeds lived in a different county in every census: 1860-Liberty Co, TX, 1870-Dewitt Co, TX, 1880-Bell Co, and 1900-Brown Co. Then Lucinda moved in with Sarah in the 1910 & 1920 census. I hope this somewhat helped. I love a good mystery and I wish you luck in solving it!

I appreciate your input. As for Harold Spencer, I'll try to do some research to see if Harold is connected to the Spencers you mentioned. Thank you so much for your help.

|SHERRY LAWRENCE||RE: Crouch Family|
Keep up the good work, Laurel. There were many tears shed along the way to settling our nation and it is only appropriate that we share them.
Please let me know when I can help you in your project.
